Seeing as Lily and Lydia were now busy getting the flowers together, and Michi had gone to get her lovely cameo, Rae turned to face Misha and gave him a fake pout of her own. "Well YOU in them is dead sexy! Don't worry Misha sweetie!" Okay, so Krad didn't look all that bit bad in them either.. but Rae was still mad at him. She didn't feel like complimenting his sexy ass right now.
She gave a shrug and started walking back towards the front desk to stroll behind it. "Sure thing sweetie, I don't really seeing us having a miraculous mad rush. It's weird having a guest without luggage anyway, help him pick up a bag or something." She gave Misha a little wave of her hand to come closer, yes she was talking like Krad wasn't standing right there. "Misha baby come here a second.." Rae was pulling something out of her drawers, it was a much more neutral band aid and she waved it at the tall bishounen. "Something to help cover up the.. marks.. from last night. Heh.." Rae's serious look instantly changed to a devious little smile, and now she was suddenly paying attention to Krad, giving him a grin that meant nothing good could come of it. "Don't you still owe Misha a personal payment for his gift to you last night? Misha doesn't take cash or charge, only payments of hugs and kisses, if I remember correctly." The only thing that distracted her from having Misha and Krad make out in front of her was Michi coming back with the necklace. "Ooooh thanks! Of course I'll take good care of it like it was my own baby! Can you help me put it on?" Rae turned her back to Michi and helped by holding up her mess of dark curls some so all of her slender pale neck was visible. |
Michi nodded to Rae, completely oblivious to the conversation she had been having with the two boys. "Sure, chokers are always a bit tricky" But, that was never more true than when they required you to use a clasp that was designed before electricity existed. Michi made a point of concentrating on the necklace, and ignoring Rae's neck, until the task was finished. "There, that should do it."
Michi smiled and patted Rae's shoulder. "I'll be upstairs, readying the rooms if anyone needs me." Michi gave Krad one more meaningful look before she turned from them all, and headed upstairs. |
Krad ignored the jibe from Rae, deciding that he'd probably be better off just avoiding this woman until she'd had a chance to cool down. He then turned to the female vampire living among these people, noting that Rae had referred to her as Michi.
"Sorry, Michi, I didn't make my bed today. I'll make sure to do it from now on, though" Having said that, Krad decided that he should get out of Rae's sight before she resumed trying to get her own personal "yaoi hentai" started in the lobby. Krad quickly got out of the lobby before Michi had a chance to finish hooking the choker around Rae's neck |
Misha grinned a bit when Rae had brought up his 'payment' but he grinned much more as he watched Krad disappear even faster. Shaking his head he disappeared to the kitchen to grab himself some breakfast before the guests arrived. Perhaps he'll ask for the payment in a more private setting.. the though made him grin and he helped himself to another of Lydia's scrumptious muffins.
Humming to himself a bit he poured some cereal and ate it slowly. He wasn't one to hurry through the morning once he got his meal unless there was a rush. Not that that happened often. |
Once the flowers were arranged on the tables, Lily set to make sure a table was ready for the guests to play cards at. She laid out the table cloth the ladies had commented on last time. It was her favorite table cloth too. Once it was smoothed out Lily set out the playing cards for them so it would be ready when they arrived.
She took a step back to admire her work and smiled nearly patting herself on the back. Now that she had time avaliable she went to the piano and sat down. Her sheet music was already up from playing yesterday. She thought the piano added to the classy atmosphere of the Bed and Breakfast. Lily started playing as she waited for the guests to show up or until she was given another job. |
Lydia admired the work she completed with Lily. Smiling, she went to the kitchen to arrange some of the snacks and goodies for the patrons. She had picked out the pretty hand painted porcelain dishes carefully from the cupboards. An assortment of muffins were stacked one after another in her best floral design before being set aside.
The night before she had jotted down what today's guests would be interested in for lunch and dinner. Taking her time, she began to prepare for both meals so they would be ready for their guests at the appropriate times. |
"Thanks Michi!" Rae grinned and fluffed her hair a little once it was in place, then turned to find the boys had slinked away while she'd been distracted. And Michi had run off to do her work too. She gave a huff of a sigh and leaned forward on the counter onto her elbows.
It was another half hour until Mrs. Agnes and Mrs. Sinclair came flouncing through the front door, Rae had straightened up from wherever she'd been clicking away from on her computer when she saw that signature pink Cadillac drive up. Mrs. Agnes always rented it on her trip. "Agnes! Oh my but you are looking divine! And how was the flight in?" Rae grinned wide at the two women both looking to be somewhere in their sixties, one with hair as stark white as bleached snow and the other a lavender-blue head of an unearthly hue piled into a behive.. this was Mrs. Agnes. Rae charmed and chatted the two women up while checking them in, and rang the front desk bell to have Misha come take their things down the hall to their room. "I have our best rooms made up looking out over the ocean view, as always." (i know i named the second lady something else, i forgot! XD If you know tell me! :pnm nm! Krad was sitting on a chair in the room that he was staying in when he heard a vehicle pull up. He walked out onto the balcony and looked down to see two women, appearing to be in their sixties, getting out of a pink Cadillac and heading towards the front door of the inn
Krad shook his head, wondering why anyone would willingly choose that particular color for a Cadillac, or any other vehicle, for that matter. With a sigh and a shake of his head, Krad believed that he'd probably never understand these humans and the way that their minds worked |
Misha had sat around listening to Lily play the piano. Until the guests arrived he had nothing else to do. When he heard a vehicle approaching the Inn he had perked up a bit and was getting up as Rae rang the bell for him to collect the bags. He came into the lobby with a cheerful smile.
"Mrs. Agnes, Mrs. Sinclair wonderful to see you once again," Misha declared with a small bow in each of their direction in turn of their names. Misha was all respect to these two women even if they seemed to be their era's type of fangirls over him. He collected their bags making a small show of it to please them and flashed another smile in their direction. "If you are ready, I shall lead you to your room." |
Michi was just putting the finishing touches on the bathroom's towels and washcloths when she heard the bell ring, calling Misha.
"Oh, crap!" She quickly gathered up all of the cleaning supplies she'd left out and stuffed them into their container, then she ran toward the bedroom door, smoothing and straightening damn near everything she passed on the way there. She opened the door and stepped out of the room just about a second before Misha appeared, leading the ladies right toward her. She allowed herself one frazzled gesture, then she stood there with her arms clasped in front of her and a simple smile to greet them with. Michi made sure not to intrude on this time-honored game that Misha and the ladies were presently engaged in. But, when she did see an opening she asked if they would need anything else this afternoon, and then excused herself. |
Krad gave the car one final dissatisfied look, then went back to the chair that he was sitting in previously. If these women were the ones that Rae was talking about before, that meant that Misha would probably have his duties finished soon. With that thought in mind, Krad started to get ready to go shopping for new clothes. Then another thought entered Krad's mind. And that was the fact that he needed to go recover something that he had left hidden on the outskirts of town while he was escaping his pursuers. Krad decided that he should be able to recover it while in town to get the clothes.

Lydia pulled one of the kitchen chairs out from under the table to rest. Her rose eyes took a gander at the inside of the oven. From the reservation's survey, she had a good idea of what the women would like to be served. She had high hopes that they would enjoy the dishes she prepared. Looking at the time, she figured she'd have enough time to read a few chapters. Rising, she reached for a romance novel she tucked in a drawer. With a smile to the cover, Lydia, as usual, pictured herself as the female lead being swept away by her prince. She sat back down and opened the book where a plastic bookmark with a tiny kitten and purple tassel laid.

Misha set the things down inside their room knowing full well that they would wish to unpack for themselves. Misha hardly unpacked for their tenants but there were a few who were that spoiled who wanted the things put away by another, only at those times he wished that he could receive tips for doing the work. After asking if there were anything else he could do for them and received a friendly no with a small chuckle from each of them he gave them a last smile and left their room before they had a chance to request a 'strip tease' which they had tried to get him to do six months ago. For sixty year old women they certainly had the appetite of twenty year olds.
Misha quickly went to be certain things were in order and he had nothing left to do before he found his way back up the stairs to knock on Krad's door. He would be free for the rest of the afternoon so it was optimal time for them to head out to shop! |
While Krad was making sure that he had everything he needed to go into town (mainly making sure that he had remembered to get his cash out of the jeans that he had been wearing and putting said cash into the pants that he was now wearing), he noticed something in the room that wasn't his. He picked up the two vials that contained a semi thick, crimson-colored liquid. As he studied the vials, he realized what it was that was in them: blood. He wasn't sure who it was that had put the vials in his room, but he had a suspicion.
As he continued to look at the vials, as if that would somehow miraculously reveal to him who had put them in his room, he heard a knock at his door. He quickly stuck the vials under the pillow on his bed and went to answer the door. When he opened it, he saw Misha standing on the other side. Acting as if nothing was out of the ordinary, Krad casually greeted Misha. "Hey, Misha. All done with your work for the morning?" |
Misha smiled brightly as the door opened to his knock. After breakfast and his coffee he certainly seemed to be in a brighter mood. He nodded to Krad's question and gave a small amiable bow in Krad's direction. "Certainly, and I always have my cell if I'm needed back here once more. Shall we head off to find you a wardrobe made of beautiful clothing that shall look good on such a great bod?"
Misha was obviously teasing Krad, though some he might find true himself but Misha enjoyed seeing Krad's reactions and only said the things to create such a reaction. Admittedly he had fun teasing those who felt so insecure about things that are gay-esque, the reactions were amusing and he was always trying to get a rise out of them. As long as they weren't ones that were gay bashers he felt no need to fear any reaction that might ensue. He highly doubted teasing Krad - although flirtatiously, would cause any negative effects. After all... Krad still owed him for his donation. |
Michi found her way back down stairs, and saw that Rae was still sitting at her desk. Michi tilted her head to the side, wondering what Rae was doing at this moment, and decided to try and sneak up on her. Michi crept quietly down the stairs, never having put any shoes on today, until she reached the bottom of the stairs. There, she gently let onef foot down onto the wood floor, slowly applying her weight to it, then she gently brought her other foot down off of the stairs. Once both of her feet were on the smooth, wooden floor, Michi made a mad dash to the back of Rae's chair, and grabbed her shoulders. "Hi, Rae!"

Krad was starting to get used to Misha's teasing, and he was learning how to tease Misha as well. Even so, Krad still arched an eyebrow at Misha's response, then broke into a laugh while giving Misha a few nudges with his elbow.
"Beautiful clothing that will look good on my great bod? Yeah, right. You're just hoping that you'll get a chance to see my great bod without any clothing on it at all" Krad stepped out of his room and shut the door behind him, then he turned to start heading down the hallway towards the steps. "Come one, Misha. If we're lucky, maybe we can get out the door without Rae trying to get a yaoi hentai started in the lobby again." |
"Well if you do not remember correctly, I had to a point," Misha responded with a smirk referring to just that morning when Krad had changed in front of him.
Misha gave a grin anyhow pleased that Krad was one to tease back rather than just look at him strangely. Most of what Misha said in one way or another be looked at as a joke when he wasn't speaking all seriousness. It was good to know he wouldn't be looked at as a bully in Krad's point of view. He followed Krad downstairs and he gave a grin at Krad's comment. "Rae is the queen of giving people a hard time, if she doesn't catch you now she still has an excellent memory later," Misha replied with a chuckle and briefly he put his arm around Krad's shoulder leaning in to say in a small voice. "Besides... I'm still waiting for my payment." |
"Well, maybe she does have an excellent memory, but maybe she'll be thinking of other things by then... I hope..."
A small trickle of sweat rolled down the side of Krad's face as he spoke the last part of his sentence. Krad rolled his eyes a bit at the last comment that Misha whispered in his ear. "Ri~ight... Listen, about that... I don't suppose that there's some way that I could just capture a young bishi slave boy for you... Is there?" By the time that Krad and Misha had reached the bottom of the stairs, Krad noticed the Michi had Rae's attention occupied, so he quickened his pace and nearly dragged Misha out the front door before Rae had a chance to notice them. |
Misha had to giggle at Krad's suggestion but he shook his head though was a bit startled as Krad hauled ass out the front door and dragged him along. Misha shook his head again, this time at Krad's folly a grin back in place. "Rae doesn't forget things Krad..
"And.. about you're bishi slave boy option.. that'd be no fun." Misha replied walking calmly beside Krad once more giving a small nod to those he knew on the street on the way to market. He turned his attention back to Krad a smile still ready on his lips. "I'll get my payment.. one way or another Krad." |
After letting Misha take away the two ladies Rae was adjusting her balances, adding the credit card into the files that was to be charged to the remainder of the trip after having already charged the main down payment for the rooms. She grinned and closed the file, not leaving the desk only because she knew the ladies would come looking for her when they couldn't find Misha again, that lucky bastard had asked to leave, and she wasn't going to keep him here for no other reason than to be oggled. He was going into town with Krad alone though. Well that answered a few questions off the bat and opened a few more.
Krad's.. vampireness, didn't mean he couldn't go out into sunlight.. that is unless he came downstairs wearing a hooded black slicker. If he did she would just have to laugh, mean or not. He was also planning to stay to the point new clothes would be needed. It would be silly to buy a bunch of stuff if he planned on skipping town the next time night rolled in now that he'd had a good drink last night. But she wondered and worried just what Krad wanted from the inn. He needed reasons for staying, and reasons for acting as he had last night. Was he a perverted trespasser or a gentleman who kept his word? Rae was deep in thought, leaning back in her chair when it was suddenly yanked back more and she was sure the thing was going to topple over backwards for a second. "Yee!" Rae rolled her head back surprised with the jerk and blinked wide steel eyes up at the perpetrator who was grinning down at her, then those eyes narrowed and she reached up over her, grabbing Michi by the wrists. And a wide devilish grin curled up Rae's red lips in such a way, that if she had been a vampire, Michi surely would have seen the points of her teeth. Krad and Misha were lucky to get out the door when they had. "Thanks for volunteering." |
"Now how would it not be any fun? I mean, you'd have a bishi waiting on you hand and foot, not to mention the other things that he'd have waiting for you."
Krad was pretty much ignoring the people that were giving him looks as he strode down the street beside Misha, regardless of whether the looks were approving or not. He couldn't help but to grimace a bit as another trickle of sweat rolled down his face at the last remark made by Misha. "The way you put that makes me feel a little ill at ease, Misha. Just what is it that you have in mind, anyway? Oh, by the way. There's something that I need to get before we go shop for the clothes." |
"Ah, but see I like doing things for myself," Misha replied to Krad looking over at him curiously. "And I rather enjoy having to work for what I get instead of taking it whenever I wish."
Misha was polite to the neighbors and though everyone knew he preferred the male sort they also knew not to jump to conclusions. None of them seemed to mind seeing two men walking down the street, though it was a normal occurrence and was not necessarily two boyfriends out for a stroll. "Well, it could be simple," Misha said with a grin seeing the unease he caused Krad knowing how to pick his words easily. "Simple being rather innocent, however if you make me truly work for it.. I may ask for more." Misha looked at him strangely and nodded this time allowing the vampire to lead him instead. |
Michi was thoroughly pleased with the shock on Rae's face, so much that she couldn't help but let out a laugh. But, the rest of Rae's response was less than expected, now it was Michi's turn to be shocked. Michi's face instantly changed expressions, and she blinked several times at Rae's comment.
"Um... volunteer?.... for what?" |
As Krad headed nonchalantly towards the outskirts of town, he turned his eyes to look at Misha's expression with an arched eyebrow while the latter was vaguely explaining what it was he had in mind.
"Do me a favor and define 'simple' in this 'innocent' sense." Krad stopped walking while looking at Misha curiously, waiting for the explanation |
