Hello, I'm xxfruitsbasketxx (xfbx), Chinese, 15 years of age, and from California. It's nice to meet you *bows*

I just joined about 10 minutes ago (No duh XD) but right now truthfully this site seems boring but I'll take a trail run before I say anything else :x

Okay, well, as you can see, my sn is xxfruitsbasketxx which means I like Fruits Basket/Furuba the manga/anime. It was the first series I read that got me hooked onto manga/anime.

What else?...I love music~!!! More specifically Asian music >< I started out listening to some Chinese songs but one day heehee...well a semi-long story but one day on youtube I was looking up F4 videos and somehow w-inds. Forever Memories music video was added into my search. I don't know why, maybe I was bored, but I clicked on it. It was such a cute song *squeak* Then I got hooked on w-inds., a3 member Japanese boy group). Now, funny thing is, to my surprise they weren't still that age as the music video *falls* I only found out about them 2 years ago so of course they still aren't 16/17 but I didn't know that so yeah. Then one day watching a w-inds. clip on youtube in the related videos box there was a video named DBSK lipsyncing to Hug. The title of the song interested me and I decided to clip on it. Low and behold I am now WAY into K-pop~!!! <3

Some artists I like: w-inds., Super Junior (& SJ-M!!!), Fahrenheit, SS501, FT Island, Cho Shin Sung, Xing, Battle, etc.

Aww. Trust me, it's not boring. There is so much to do here! And the people are very kind.
I see you've listed a lot of your interests. There are many others here on Menewsha that have the same interests as you! They're all different threads chatting right now. You could be there, too! There are plenty of threads that discuss music and anime. And if there isn't a thread about something you would like to talk about in particular, you could always start one. Just make sure there isn't one that already exists.

Anyways, I hope you find that you like it here. I'd recommend posting around and playing the games. It's a lot of fun and a great way to earn gold. See you around!

I hope you do give this place a chance before you decide it's boring... I kind of thought so too when I first joined, but I quickly figured out it was a really great place to meet different kinds of people with similar interests. Plus, the games are REALLY addicting! Of course if you don't like places like Gaia you probably won't like Menewsha... all avatar sites are pretty similar in their general structure. This place has a way better user base though. Gaia has kind of turned to the kiddies :P

I'm actually just getting into anime/manga, so I've never heard of Fruit Basket before... I do like the whole idea of the genre though, so maybe I'll check it out sometime :)

Welcome to Menewsha. <3 I miss CA. I moved away about a year ago after spending my whole life there. ^^;; It's so weird to be so far from home! *cough*

anyway, that I think is one of the nice things about youtube. Though sometimes the related videos aren't exactly related, when they are you can find out about a lot more awesome stuff. <3
