Red I have read them all countless times, I have a tat of Canth from the original art where f'nor is sitting on him on the southern beaches when he impressed grall. I have 3 of her sons books as well which are as good as hers. Ive got the dragon riders series, the Haper Hall series and I cried when Robinton died. Here is the book cover I had made into the tat.

Wow, that whole picture? *drools at how sexy F'nor is* Yes, I've been reading Todd's books as well, they're pretty good, but I want to get back to the cast that I know best. There are surely more adventures out there for F'lar, Lessa, and company. I especially want to see more of Menolly. I know her destiny is to be a harper, but I really am sorry that she never impressed a queen. I think she'd make an outstanding queen rider.

read the harper hall series, dragon song, dragon singer and dragon drums, with 9 fire lizards menolly doesn't need a dragon! LOL I have all of the old art for the first edition books from all over the world, I love them all, I think however Mnemeneth, Canth, Ruth and The Blue fidranth, are my favorites. Robintons Zair my favorite fire lizard. Menolly is a very special person, if you read those books above she is in all of them. MCcaffrey had to split the dragon riders from the harpers, holders, so on so readers would get more information. The world of Pern is full of great people!

I will have to copy and past and then write them down later and go see if the Library has them.
if not I can always ask Pat if she can get them at the bigger library in Springfield.

Pink, they're well worth reading, but be sure you get them in the right order! Reading the later books first will just get confusing.

Phoenixx, yes, the characters are intriguing, and there seems to be a cast of thousands. Mind you, there are some things I DON'T like about Pern, such as the way drudges and apprentices can be mistreated at times, the scorn the poor watchwhers seem to be held in, and the fact that man's best friend the dog has been denigrated to the level of doing nothing but turning spits in the kitchen. I'll keep clicking on your eggs, but frankly I give up on getting my own. My computer seems to be too damn slow.

Okay, thanks! You will see I now have two more eggs, unfortunately they're both purple. Does that mean they'll turn out to be the same kind of dragon? If so, I might just discard one and let someone else have a chance at it.

I see an orange, a purple and a green, But if they are both the same color in order to breed there has to be the male and female, I don't think you can tell if they are which sex by the egg Id keep them no matter. I know one fella only gets one at a time But I wanted 3 to begin with.

*nods* I'll hold onto the extra purple for a bit. If the three eggs showing hatch soon I'll bring the other purple back in. If not, I'll discard it so it at least has a chance to hatch.

I think you have to wait 3 days to abandon it, I didnt read that part, but I have a buddy said as much. Facade breeds them now he knows alot more than I do about them.

Yes when they hatch we get to name them, I tried for a black as well but was too slow, someday Ill get them all but for now im happy with what I have.
