Background suggestions wanted
Hi all!
So here's another oekaki art piece, with no background yet. I want to hear suggestions of you all! Yes I know it needs some work here and there, but bear with me okay? http://oekamie.divagate.com/pictures/OP_732.png |
Humm I think it is hard to work in a BG after you have done the piece personally, but I would say some thing dark or neutral maybe like a Victorian picture frame and tie in more of your theme of clocks?
Either way I like the piece as it is now, Oekaki and I never could get lines like that >>;;; |

kerryfox's suggestion of the Victorian picture frame is one I agree with. I personally think something dark as the background would be good. Black, with golden/silver clockworks or clocks/watches would be nice. |

...no but seriously maybe a nice deep navy print on a lighter navy background [like velvet flocked wallpaper] in an aged gold frame. here's some of the awesome wallpaper I'm talking about |
Honestly He looks like he's about to pull some sort of evil but entertaining trick. Maybe a curtain background, as if he was on a stage. Not that I dislike anything Victorian, just trying to give you some variety!
