6 Word Memoirs
George Orwell invented the six word story when he wrote one of his masterpieces:

Confused through emotion,surrounded but alone. I thought it was pretty good myself xD |
My six word memoir for the very recent past is exceedingly simple.
"I'm not sure what to do." Along side that is: "Wasted potential? Aw what the hell!" Describing my life as a whole is much more difficult, however. |
Have to go downstairs again, damnit.

That's the best I can come up with. It pretty much defines my life. :P I'll have to think on this more. What an interestng idea. |
^ This is one of those things that you find your mind drifting to at odd moments. I know that I'll start to think about a memoir in the morning and little by little I'll edit it throughout the day.

Haha, the challenge is in making it match up perfectly. Unless you make the effort to plan it out and specifically decide want you want to say, the exercise won't work.

Maybe that was so many that it defeated the purpose of summing yourself up in JUST six words, but I was having fun. xD |
Coming up with a lot isn't a bad thing - It's just tough to create some that you're really, perfectly happy with.
The idea is to look at your life and just keep editing it down and down until there's only six words left. If you can create more than one memoir, then you're just looking at different aspects of your life instead of it as a whole. |
Yeah, all I could manage was just different aspects, though.
The first three were about the biggest aspects, and the last three about smaller ones. I just realized that I did six six word memoirs... xD That wasn't even intentional. |
