Amen to that!

"Feeling sickly with no Nyquil anywhere..."

That has been my story as of late.

But this is my story for the next 7 months.
"I'm pregnant; where are the olives?!"

King 12-06-2008 06:52 AM

To be lonely, my ultimate downfall.

Inverse Sonata 12-10-2008 01:03 AM

What a time to shine, no?

I came, I saw, I quit.

To love is to die painfully.

Speak much, talk loud, hear not.

What terrible pain, band isn't fun.

Dreams of being an only child.

How are these? Good? Bad? Both?

Kierys 12-10-2008 05:18 PM

Seeking fairy dust, finding only fluff.

Oh, I chuckled muchly at the last one. Congratulations, by the way, on your soon to be.

Haha, that quote above me made me giggle."

I'm trying to think of at least one for myself.

I guess a definite one would be:
"Oh darn. Something else that's broken."

Or:

"I thought I had more time!"

(ai) 12-17-2008 01:16 AM

walk into the waves, dear child

Inverse Sonata 12-17-2008 02:12 AM

Walk on air, keep eyes closed.

No one cares like a bear.

Tomorrow should be a snow day.

Perched On Top Of The World...

And lately:
Cram Some Revision Before You Fail!

That's The Story Of My Life.... i've been saying this quite a lot recently :P

That has got to be one of my favorite ones so far XD

Sho-Shonojo 02-08-2009 02:09 AM

There hasn't been a reply in here in a while. Here's one I just thought up.

He barks in my ear, loudly.

Insane Cricket 02-08-2009 06:03 AM

I hope this thread is still open for posting. I think my six words would have to be, "Wishes mother would act her age."

Éspoire 02-08-2009 04:55 PM

She found her life in music.

That pretty much sums my life up ;D

Insane Cricket 02-09-2009 08:41 AM

Hey, I managed a four word memoir.

"Wishes friendships didn't fade."

Knerd 02-09-2009 08:16 PM

Haha, that's not quite the point of the exercise.
The challenge is to discipline yourself with an exact goal, not to limit yourself to as few words as possible. Try to shoot for precisely six words.

Insane Cricket 02-10-2009 12:03 AM

I wasn't shooting for four words, it just ended up being four words. I tried to make it six, but it just didn't feel the same when I tried to change it.

I wrote a few more of these, but they felt a little too personal to post here so I put them in my blog instead.

I do have to say though, this is a really fun thing, and it really does make you think about yourself when you're writing them. Thank you for that. ^_^

Thinking faster than I can understand

It really suits me, no? While I can partially understand my thoughts, most of them sound like pseudo-scientific psychobabble to me.

For something sillier, how about "Sorry. I can't get it up."

Sho-Shonojo 02-10-2009 08:06 PM

"I brought about a revival, SCORE"

Ha, ha. That's just what I thought when I saw people posting in here again. :D

Now, a more serious on. Um...let's see

Restriction: Why I can't go on.

Genji to Heike 02-12-2009 12:13 AM

This looks fun.

Came, saw and concurred. Too late.

What it means, I'm not really sure LOL.

(bursts out laughing). Definitely a major detail in a man's life.

what what what 02-17-2009 04:58 AM

They kind of blow, but here are mine:

Brain sucks, want a new one.
Video games have ruled my life.
Damn! I forgot my homework again.

spicedroses 02-17-2009 06:00 PM

Alone, feeling lost in the crowd.

Insane Cricket 02-18-2009 08:06 AM

The crowd calls; I don't respond.

Rabid Rainbow 02-19-2009 02:30 AM

Oh I love 6 words memoirs! It's surprising to see what people come up with.

Here's a couple of mine:

Planning future now; have no idea
Want more friends but too shy
Screw college planning; too much stress

Insane Cricket 02-19-2009 02:09 PM

Wishes dreams really could come true.
