Just a heads up, I'm a little stressed with schoolwork right now so my entry might be submitted Saturday instead of friday (if Seiki says it's okay). I'll try to have something up for critique tomorrow but I can't be too sure.

I told you guys to be creative with this challenge. Don't limit yourselves.

Speaking of things I've told you, I told you all I would address the photoshopping ordeal.

In the original version, the use of photoshop applied to putting together the avatars how you wanted to put them together, essentially being able to control your own layering. Editing was never directly approached however in the terms of the original version of the contest, and while I'm not going to stop anyone from recoloring items, hair colors, or making base edits, I would encourage you not to use them as it's hard to truly make them work if you do them wrong. In all honesty, the recoloring of the features can greatly ruin your entry if done wrong. Unless you know how to recolor and choose the appropriate colors when working on those recolors, I would advise you to be careful if you choose to take that approach. As previously stated, I will not stop you from doing them, or using photoshop in any way. If that's the way you choose to go, then the judging will be taken into account for any edits, which I will now be having the judges grade on a separate scale out of 5 in which the results of the edited scale will be factored into your total score. This means you can get an 8 on the total score, which if edits are present and a score of 2 is given, your final score will be a 6.4. So you need to be careful when you decide that you want to do item/base edits.

I just tested out my cosplay on my brother. He recognized it! XD I guess that means I'm on the right path~

For the Penguin, could the bow be changed to white, maybe? There's already a big blob of black up top... I'll edit my post with a WIP in a bit..

Two of the little details I like the best are the little bow tie and the glasses LOL.

I just had to use the gun. It fit her 8D;; And I added some gold to match the hair and to keep it more lively. If only the MAC had the angry eyebrows. A crooked smile would have been great~ but my lap top still doesn't have Photoshop, and it will stay like this until the weekend D8

Yup~ As far as I know anyway LOL I might have miss-read the front page since I was in a hurry and didn't bother to check again...

My favorite from those 3 is the middle one. The first one feels plain in the middle but the third one feels obtrusive and bulky. Maybe give him white shoes and gloves? LOL I'm still stuck on the "penguins must be black and white" mentality.

Any thoughts on mine? I still don't know if I should add anything, change something, or just leave it as is.

Not digging the hair style... bun? Not the joker type...

Well, I'm kind of trying to hide her hair, since I don't have photoshop to actually mess with male hairstyles. Since her hair is rarely visible in any of the art I've seen of her, I kind of tried to hide it...

Any suggestions for the hair style?

Remember you guys, I'm not asking for direct cosplays. The outfits should be representative of what the characters usually wear, as well as your own viewpoint into the character's personality and style choices. Giving us a mirror of the characters isn't any fun : (

Yours is fine <3 I was just saying generally, because like with Hatake's versions of the Penguin, I feel they're too direct. Too obvious.

Oh yay~

I messed around with the neck area because it felt too... red.. but at the same time I didn't want to eliminate it completely, so I switched to the one with the pattern and added a black cutie scarf.. I tried the black one with the pattern but the black stuck out too much.
