lol, I'm thinking of doing a raver girl under the influence of LSD.

I wanted to do LSD too, but more of the psychedelic, bright colours, walls breathing sort of thing

Its supposed to represent a raver on ecstasy.

Symptoms of Ecstasy- allows for lots of movement, comfort, a fuzzy happy feeling, a drug often found at Raves.

I'm going for LSD with this avatar... seeing bright colours, trails on moving objects, static objects seem to be moving, time distorts...

I actually see cocaine in your avatar right off the bat. :yes: The crown and smoke really give off that impression to me, as when you're coked-up, you think you're the king of the world, and can do anything. And you smoke... A lot. :lol:

MORE COLORS, LESS MATCHY! XD -- I'd actually say this about any of the hallucinogens. :yes:

I'm going for Ayahuasca. There's some neat descriptions on the wikipedia page, and so far it seems to fit, I think.

@ Cora - I dont see what you're going for

@ Slow - I really like what you're working with. Bright colors is good, and the wispyness of it (the smoke) definently gives off a kind of psychodelic (sp?) feel, since to me it seems more like its bluring the vision and colors around. (at least thats what it makes me think of)
I like what Sizzla said, though, about how in being a drug, there should be less order and more chaos. Maybe less balance. Smaller items (the hairpin really throws me off, and so do any just chunks of color). And maybe more neon and bright colors? The slightly pastel colors don't seem quite as drug-like as other colors could be.

@ elektra - What are you trying for?
The big layers dont really make me think of any drugs.

With those reference images, you really need more color than what you've got. xD You could almost get away with that hair style in a bright color and a clashing mix of the Stareater hair. The ears seem non-congruent, and the bees are almost too cutesy. Try some kind of boots? The demonate, shockingly tall or armande maybe. I'm gonna vote that the black you have doesn't really flow with the style you're going for. But that's just my opinion. xD

P.S. Do I owe you a reading? o.o I feel like I owe a couple people readings.

I remember reading about LSD and it talked about geometric patterns... I dunno if you could do that though. I think the pastels mixed with the dark is just weird. Like, the dark with neon colors would be great, but the dark with pastels just does something funny to my eyes. I'd vote either a plethora of pastels or else the very bright with the dark. I dunno. I love your background stuff; that works great.

For the first challenge, are you supposed to look like a hallucination someone would have, or someone waking up after a hallucination?

Hmm....lol, I suppose I picked brighter ref pics lol but black is also very common in ravers xP
