My name is really unusual. I've met a handful of people who say they've heard it before, but usually those people are from Europe (which is where my mom saw the name in the first place, so there you go).
I've had teachers call me all sorts of variations and I'm always really shocked when people get it right. XD; One of my boyfriends didn't pronounce it correctly for maybe around six to eight months before I realized. >_>; (It wasn't really his fault as I don't speak about myself in the third person and he'd only seen my name in written form before. So... >_>; I'd probably only said it once over the phone. >_>;; ) |

Plus people at school are starting to use other variations of my name now T_T. I wish my best friends boyfriend would stop calling me Amberly. Beats my cousins "Amburger" nickname from when I was littlethough. xD Ck- Same with my last name and my oldest sisters first name. xD My last name is italian and about the only ones who get it right without ever hearing it is other italians or (NOT BEING RACIST) blacks. xD I even verbally tell them I am shocked. My sisters name is Constanza (pronounced CON-STON-ZA) and Stanzie for short (pronounced STON-ZEE), and people pronounce them CON-STAN-ZA and STAN-ZEE, and those sound like crap. xD |
Most names like Jennifer Brittany Amber and stuff seem to happen to coincide with general cattyness and well previously named attributes XD;; its unfortunate...

xD That is funny riri. One of my best friend's names is Jennifer, and the younger of my older sisters name is Brittany...though the stereotype turned to be right with her, thus making me question my judgement in a person's character...I might have been in denial with her though >.>

I tried and failed to make a new avatar for a few hours, so finally I just went "fuck it" and put on all the bulkiest, ugliest, and least matching items I had. I had to switch out items to make sure it wouldn't look remotely good. I wore that for a few days and got quite a few "wtf" type responses from people who were used to my avs. xD |

mah name is Lucinda, and I know waaaay too many Lucy's, so only my relatives call me Lucy there's one girl at school who I've always known as Lucy and last Friday at my year 12 art exhibition I had a really odd moment when I was looking at her stuff and the little title, name thing said Lucinda... it was weird o.O |
