Yeah, Project Mene is only popular just before a new cycle starts and about two challenges in, it slows down a lot. People don't really chat here like they do in UP.

Well its one of one threads that I check daily, on my normal routine. I've been doing a bit more lately because I've been selling junk to try and finish stores and stuff. another 35k and I'll have headworks done xD

I needa do a non themed avi. I try but then almost always fall back into the same habits of having to have it match xD

That's how it is with me too. I'm not super critical about matching exact shades or balancing perfectly, but I still try to make them match on some level.

I tend to always be themed these days. ><;;

I just stick with colors. I don't try to put themes into my avatars.

I can agree with that.

In my own experience, "themes" aren't necessarily a direct cosplay/interpretation of something, but I'll choose items, shapes, and colors that fit with the general thematic concept I have in mind.

Seiki's avatars seem to have some thematic properties to them most of the time, where the items worn make sense within the avatar as a whole, not just because they match colors.
