Ah, I know that feeling. I think I saw it in a certain color but turns out it was just wishful thinking.

There's a wrap bottom that I full intended to use when I thought about doing Lion King. Then I actually found it and discovered that none of its colors worked.

The only reason I didn't add Rent to the list is because quite frankly, it seemed far too easy to me. And for the record, I saw the movie six times while it was in theatres because I was never fortunate enough to make it to the show when it came to Phoenix.

I wasn't really a fan of the movie version of Rent. :(
Of course, I haven't seen it on Broadway, but... It just came off so BLAND. :lol:

I did see Mama Mia on-stage before it hit the screens, though. :D Which I found odd... I saw it a month or two before it was announced to be made into a movie. :shock: And being the hardcore Meryl Streep fan, of COURSE I had to see it in theaters... And subsequently buy the DVD. :P

I think it would've been fun to have had older musicals on the list, but then again... That probably would've made it a lot harder to moderate. :rofl:

I liked the Rent movie the first time I saw it. The play version is definitely far, far better though.

I think I like Gaston better, but I haven't made up my mind yet. Neither one of them feels particularly... excellent. Just kindof an okay cosplay. I'm not really sure how to spice it up without making accessories just look like they don't fit at all :/

Here's a couple of Rafikis. They're based more off of the broadway costume. I'm sad that there's no good face paint for it, but I really think the tiki mask lends well to "baboon" (it must be the lips xD).

Oh, I figure you all already know this, but please be sure to include your character name/movie/play that they were in so that all the judges are able to know who you're talking about. Not everyone is going to be familiar with all of the options that you have.

Below that is a list of movies that have been adapted to the big screen after originally being on Broadway or vice versa. You need to pick a character from one of those films and do a cosplay for them, so you're essentially trying to copy an outfit that one of the characters wears in the films.

Dragoness: You just dress up as one of the characters from one of the listed productions. I am one of the lion king lions. With a boat on my head. For no reason whatsoever.

It does match rather well, though.
