I'm sure Seiki is fine. It's a long running joke.
|
Yes, he's perfectly fine. :yes:
-knocks on wood- If he's not, I can recommend a perfectly splendid ENT doctor who's moving from UPenn to Arizona... :ninja: ;) |
lol okay, so whats going on this week with score and challenge?
|
No idea. Seiki hasn't posted since last Friday.
|
I gave mine in early Monday, so don't blame me please. :gonk:
It's college move-in week. :ninja: My mind is beyond perplexed and stressed, and that week-long vacation I took wasn't long enough. :cry: I blame Cami. :lol: |

I'm guessing we're probably not having a challenge this week then >3>;;
I hope Seiki is okay :( |
Why do people think Cora is suicidal?
*worries about Seiki* Does he(?) disappear like this often? |
No, everything is fine, really. It's been a really busy couple of days with work. We had an employee quit on us without notice so I've been working extra hours to make up for lack of help at our store. Today and tomorrow are my only days off this week, which is fine if I weren't working 11-12 hour shifts every day and then coming home and having other stuff to do with the family. I'm sorry I haven't really been online to fill any of you in.
By the way, I got my new phone yesterday (iPhone 4 <333333) and I was wondering if anyone had any good iPhone/iPod touch apps that they would like to recommend for me? And by the way, if you have Words For Friends on your iPhone/iPod touch, please tell me your username so I can play with you! Mine is heydarrell if you do have it. Feel free to challenge me (srsly). So I'm going to try and have the scores up tomorrow night sometime. I have kind of a busy schedule tomorrow (oil change, meeting up with friends one last time before they all leave me for school, grocery shopping, laundry, etc), so it might be a little later. |
Yay! Welcome back Seiki! Glad you're not dead. ^_^ Now I can go back to stalking the contest.
|
@Doctor- Hehe, I figured. Just bein' in-character. ;D
Facade? Hmm, sounds like the name of a scary pervy guy! D: What do we do about him? |
@Seiki - I don't have an iPhone, but Insomniac was excited about this ap:
Sleep Cycle alarm clock I have it bookmarked in case I ever get an iPhone. :p PS: I am glad you are not really dead. |
@CK- Oh my goodness, that looks amazing! I want an iPhone now, just for that. :drool:
|
Looks like an interesting app, but I don't think it would work for me. I don't really sleep much anyways. I wake up almost every hour like clockwork on my own as it is.

I figured it might be your work, you seem tired a lot lately. I hope you find time to rest soon. Take your time with the scores, we can wait. Your health is more important. |
Interesting fact that Time Magazine just taught me. Men are more likely to succeed at committing suicide than women.
|
It's because our mood swings are less severe, so if we're feeling ready to shoot ourselves, we do it. :roll: We don't change our mind five minutes later, run over to mommy's house, cry for hours, and become nuns by morning. :talk2hand:
|
Women make more attempts; men are more successful (so they don't have to make as many attempts >3>). Men also tend to use more sure-fire methods than women, in general.
Seiki has awoken from his work coma! Hooray! Since y'all asked me for updates on my job, I guess I'll say that I'm meeting with my boss today to do hire paperwork and stuff. He happens to be friends with my fiance so we'll probably spend an hour or so ragging on him xD I'm really excited. I hope I do lots and lots of costume work. I only know the basics of my own sewing machine, so I'm prepared to learn a lot so that I can do things like sew button holes with my machine 8D |

I'm too focused on thinking positive to be mistaken for suicidal. I used to be really negative. I was depressed and had severe anxiety attacks, but my husband is bipolar and my father-in-law (who we lived with at the time) suffers from clinical depression. Someone in the house has to stay positive no matter how bad things get or suicide could become a very real threat. I'm sort of stuck with the job of morale officer. lol. On the plus side, I hardly ever have panic attacks anymore since I started trying to look at things more optimistically. ^_^ I recommend you try to find the silver lining in situations and don't worry too much about what people think. It isn't always easy but it's much more rewarding than giving up. If your attitude changes, the people worrying about you should realize you were just having a bad time. At least they care enough to be concerned. ^_^ Hope that helps. *hugs* ^_^ |
I think I read somewhere that men tend to use more violent (an as such successful) methods of killing themselves, like shooting themselves in the head. Women are more likely to try something like pills that they're far more likely to be saved from.
---------- In other news, I was trying to look it up to confirm, and found this: More women attempt suicide than men, but more men are successful in carrying it out? - Yahoo!7 Answers What. The. Hell. |
That's a prime example of really dumb people finding each other through the magic of the internet. O_o'
|
