:sarcasm:I don't know if anyone talked about this yet... but... do you like them? do you have a favorite? a least favorite? or would you rather get rid of them completely?

I don't mind commercials... until they play them over and over and over or like three times back to back like they do sometimes -_- ... or make like three different kinds of commercials for the same thing and play them in the same commercial break -__-

I love commercials during the super bowl though because that's when advertising people go all out to make really noticable and memorable commercials... and I love most of the redbull commercials just because they make me laugh... :sweat:... I might be a little sad if they got rid of commercials completely... they'd probably find some other way to shove advertising down your throat anyway... and I think I'd rather see it on the TV then some other way... >_>... :sarcasm:

Most of the time i hate them and turn the channel when they come on.

But I like those Mercenaries 2 commercials. Those are really funny. XD

I hate the really long commercials that they put on sometimes though. Like the ones where instead of several shorter commercials it's one really long one about some wonder product. Yet it's not actually an infomercial. If that Billy Mays guy yells at me one more time... ><

I generally don't mind them, unless they're the ones in the middle of movies. Those ones are annoying.
My favourite would have to be the original Knock-Off Nigel advert xD
I'm not sure if it's a UK-only advert; if you haven't seen it you should search it.
That or the IKEA "Doink test" advert.

I have noticed that over the months. Commercials about "Weight Loss" have increased.
It is so freakin annoying!!

=I especially hate the one about taking pill because fat is unsightly :roll:
That is a matter of opinion altogether.
And the commercial last over 30 seconds! That is what kills it for me, just based on how long they draw out that this pill alone is going to make you lose weight.

=Dove commercials.
I actually liked this, they were cute and made you feel good. Of course the commercials had a lot of critics. Blogs that say average people in commercials don't make them want to buy the product.
I never bought a product based on what the people looked like.

="Male Enhancement Pill" commercial. UGH!!! Another one I can't stand. It is just so stupid. Especially with the fact that some networks or FCC or whatever, won't let shows or commercials say "penis". So the male genitalia is rendered to being called "Thing" or "Part".
There is no magic pill that will make your penis longer! NONE!
It has been said for centuries! And people will still think that pills make body parts grow. =_=;

At least the "Bob" ones are entertaining, but still unnecessary.

Depends on what's on. If I'm watching a movie on a TV channel, I hate commercials because I want to see what happens next immediately. Otherwise, I don't mind them at all. In fact, I find some commercials absolutely hilarious and others very creative.

My current favorite is the commercial for J&R Music World with the 3 men thrashing their heads to a metal song. The ones showed during the Olympics with Morgan Freeman as the voice over was great. That man has a delicious voice.

My favourite commercial is an Australia one at the moment. It for some no carb beer I think. Warning, bad language. xD

A man sits at a table with his girlfriend and her family. He says something along the lines of "I hope I can be as good to your daughter as you have been to her" and then his phone starts ringing. The ring tone is starts playing a rap song... Classic embarrassment!

I like all the Cadbury Creme Egg ad's too. The eggs are trying to get themselves squished. If you don't know what I'm talking about, search Cadbury Creme Egg on youtube. They are cute... in a messy chocolate goo way.

My favorite commercial is the Hulu one. It never fails to make me smile.

The worst one... by far, the Extenze commercial. Bunai hit it right on the nose D:
Everyone knows that there is no pill to "make a man larger." And I hate the phrase "make a man larger" along with the woman in the commercial who appears to be the victim of a botched sex change. I mean, when you have to say the words "It's REAL SCIENCE" in your commercial, you know there's something wrong with your product.
As someone who watches a lot of late-night TV, I am so sick of that commercial I'm about to go sue the company myself. They've already gotten sued for false advertising at least once...

Oh, and the dating hotline commercials. Icky.

One of the TV channel here sometimes has 60 second ad breaks, rarely but sometimes. I like ad breaks, gives me a chance to go get food, drink and go for a bathroom break.

I am up pretty late tonight and getting all the ad for mobile phone services. The adult ones are lame. The voice overs are so stupid and she sounds kinda bogan. One of the ad has this lady trying to be sexy on the bed in her underwear but when they zoom in on her face, she has bad wrinkles around her eyes.

I really hate the mobile services ad that is advertisting Partner Tracker. They make out like it is real and that it really works. I read the super, tiny, small text on the screen and it says Simulation Only. It is hard to read so I am sure so many people have signed up for this thinking it is real. Those other ones that tell you if your partner is perfect for you by sending your names to them are horrible too. I wonder if anyone has been superstitious enough and dumped there other half because of a bad percentage reading, lol. Those mobile things cost $2 for every message you recieve and they send you about 5 day. Then when you unsubscribe, it never works.

I wish those mobile services were classed as scams and the ads were banned.

I'm a huge fan of the new hulu commercial, it totally had me rolling.


Not to mention the jack in the box commercials are pretty great... i love the newest one, where jack tears off his sleeves--LOL, I've seen jack in that suit for so many years, its just hilarious to think that he's built!

i'm a huge animation fanatic, so the red bull commercials are great imo :)

I like the hulu commercials too, they are really bizarre. The starburst/skittles commercials freak me out, especially the one where the guy makes a sculpture of his girlfriends face out of starbursts and then bites her nose off.

I don't know if the ads regional or not but does any one else find the pizza hut pizza mia commercials beyond freaking annoying? They make me want to invest in a dvr.

There are TV ads for enhancement pills in the US! :o

I'm completely shocked and disgusted by that, is there no regulating body that screens ads over there? There's no way on earth that anything like that is allowed on TV in the UK.

There are borderline ones for Adios, which is a herbal suppliment that's meant to boost your metabolism and and fat-burning, but never ever any for "proper" diet pills.

I love the Progressive auto insurance commercials. She just makes me laugh.

Ditto at the weight loss and "male enhancement" commercials on my cable. You mean women are supposed to be toothpicks and men should be walking funny all the time? =__=

The Viagra commercials I have seen are pretty crass. One has two guys behind a piano with their pants dropped. They bop up and down playing the piano with their you know whats. Another one has a couple in bed and the husband holds up his sturdy tray with no hands.

I love the telus commercial too cute. I absolutely hate the axe commercials, they portray to young boys that girls will love them if they wear axe.
