Hm, profiles. Let's keep it organized.

|
Haha I know. And for once it's a guy profile >D
|
Oi, a hot guy! >D
Lawls, its like we switched roles. |
I know huh? Usually it's me who's the guy.
EDIT: Here's the profile Character Name: Diana James Abaya Age: 20 Height: 5'2" Race: Half Filipino, Half Caucasian Gender: Female Sexuality: Straight Body Type: Average Appearance: One word you could use to describe Diana was short. Standing at only five feet and two inches she wasn't very imposing and her soft features didn't help either. Her skin was darker than normal, though not quite tan by definition. Her hair was dark brown, almost black and wavy, flowing down to her midback unless it was tied into a ponytail. Her eyes were an almond shape and the irises were a dull gray color, usually half-lidded and adorned with dark rings from a lack of sleep. Coming lower you could see that she wasn't quite muscular, more lean and less curvy in shape. One would think that she were an adolescent when really she was 20 years old. Personality: Diana tries to be a down to earth person despite how much she spaces out and day dreams when someone is trying to lecture her meaning that she has a rather short attention span and sometimes find wallpaper more interesting than certain people. She also feels that rather than the future, the moment is her God and despite how much she tells other people to use some common sense she can be rather reckless when she wants to and at times can end up walking into the middle of the street without knowing it. Not to say that she's stupid as she can deduct things easily by what she observes and can memorize things really easily and can spot small changes in a person (i.e. subtle hand gestures, change in expression, etc.). History: As a child, Diana would always think that something else was out there aside from the four walls that she resided in. She was always kept at home, warned that she would get raped or knifed or something so she became a homebody. She was tutored as a child and the only real time that she was allowed outside of the house was during doctor visits where she learned to take in little details as she rode in the car: People like to run across the road to reduce their weight, food vendors loved to yell as a form of advertisement, etc. Once she had remembered running away as a teenager in order to actually see the world for herself and had gotten far, five blocks if she remembered before she was caught by her parents and sent off to boarding school, where she wouldn't be allowed to wander off campus. For the next couple of years she was only told about "the outside world" and learned more about the social graces needed since at home she didn't need to dress up or anything, so here she learned that you would need to start wearing respectable clothing. By the time she was out of school she learned most of the social "rules" and how to act in public, but hadn't experienced most of that, making her like a baseball player who never picked up a bat. At age eighteen she had bought herself an apartment and decided to work from home. Other: Even though she learned most of those social graces she still hasn't hammered out most of her idiosyncrasies and when faced with a new situation, she doesn't know how to adapt to them. |
Finally...
Character Name: Park Chung-Ho Age: 21 Height: 5'7" Race: Korean Gender: Male Sexuality: Straight Body Type: Average Appearance: Chung-Ho Chung-Ho's appearance may come off as a bit weird, but its considered to be perfectly normal during this current timeframe. As shown in his picture, he has a thing for eyeliner- always wearing it if he gets a chance to. Chung-Ho also loves dark clothing, as he says that he'd rather blend in with a crowd as opposed to standing out in one. His hair is always spiked -unless of course, he's sleeping or in the shower -as he wears cross earrings to match. Along with leathered open-hand gloves that are buttoned up halfway, he wears a denim blue vest that seems to -as he claims - 'notify people of his prescence'. Beneath his emo-ness, he's still a pretty lovable (and attractive) guy. Personality: Chung-Ho (usually just 'Chung') can be described as being real, having no problem with expressing himself in most cases. Sometimes his openness can lead to the ends of friendships -mainly over jealousy -but he just shrugs it off, and continues on with his life. Chung is quite the intelligent person, if need be and is independent most of his time, which is usually the best for him as he plays games and wastes time on the Internet. History: Born in 2036, Chung-Ho had two loving parents that cared a lot. He was an only child, having the freedom to play outside and inside like the normal kid he was. Of course, there were rules from his parents that told him not to wonder off and not to play in the street. Being about eleven or twelve at the time, Chung disobeyed and wondered into the city with some friends that wanted to show him around. That became his first experience roaming about the city. At about eighteen, Chung was able to drive and in the evenings he would go off into the city. He enjoyed the nightlife and the structures of the buildings, then deciding that his home was too bland. A couple of months later, he would buy an apartment there. Other: He is currently unemployed. |
((FIRST POST! ;D))
Not a lot happened in the year of 2057. Nothing besides advertisements, nightlife, and more nightlife. Most people could care less, however. For example... It was near nine at night, as a nearby street light poured into the bedroom of a twenty-one year old man. Chung-Ho, as he was called, tossed over in his bed as he tried to ignore the glare that was purposely burning into his lidded retinas. He growled, putting a pillow over his head and turned away, instead facing his alarm clock that read: 8:40PM. Groaning, Chung-Ho got up from his sheets and went into the bathroom to freshen up. Might as well get up now. |
((HAHA yay))
In contrast to what most twenty somethings were doing in this time of night, a dark haired girl was busy typing away on her computer, yawning once as she continued unwavering. Her focus was somewhere else though as she turned to the window. Her job as a manager of a website who manufactured clothing and other merchandise for certain companies who applied. She worked in mostly having to make sure that shipments got out to the right places. Of course she wasn't too good at that considering that she would always be looking out there, at the window. It would be like that time that she paid the street vendor for a greasy hot dog. She licked her lips, remembering now that she hadn't eaten in a long time. Damn, caught in a reverie like yesterday. She got up, pushing out her chair as she headed to the kitchen in her apartment. The place looked a lot like a mismatched bachelor(et)'s pad with it's odd furniture and generic coffee table which led to her small kitchen. |
Chung-Ho was in the shower, washing up. He almost fell asleep -the fourth time this week -which wasn't really the best of signs. He shook his head awake, proceeded to rinse and got out.
After drying off, Chung put on his pair of boxers along with a wifebeater and plopped back onto his bed. He knew that he couldn't stay there forever and decided to go get something to eat. |
After fetching a bowl of cereal she went back to her computer, munching on her dinner as she checked her emails. Her inbox consisted of mostly spam and new alerts and one was from an old high school friend. It went something along the lines of "Dear Diana, we were thinking of having a small gathering even though it's only been two years". She closed that tab, with her finger before moving the windows and scrolling around. She was out of groceries unfortunately and as she soon found out, so were the online grocers.
|
Chung had found some pop tarts and decided to heat those up. He munched on them while he checked his email; nothing new. Chung sighed, finishing off his last bite and headed towards his couch. He turned on his flat screen television and proceeded to watch.
|
Diana sighed, getting up from her desk and closing up the holographic images before pocketing the small holo-projector. It was essentially a computer only compacted into a small projecter that would give off a holographic keyboard and holographic screen, both of which were touch screen. She looked down for a moment, remembering that she had to change before going outside and did so quickly, walking out the door.
|
Yawning, Chung decided that after fifteen minutes of channel flipping, he would get out and get some air. He slipped on some denim skinny jeans and put on his signature vest to top his wife beater.
Applying his daily eyeliner, Chung-Ho left his apartment and out into the city. |
Often Diana wondered why she got contradicting messages from her parents and from her classmates. Whenever she would ask about what was outside her window she was usually scolded in Tagalog and her classmates simply told her that it was more "fun" at night. She usually refrained from leaving with them seeing as she never knew her way around the place. She looked around, trying to remember how long ago it was that she had looked for any sort of supermarket. Two, maybe three months? What she didn't realize was that she had walked, straight into an alley. Diana blinked her eyes, looking around and sighing. Her schoolmates also told her that she daydreamed too much, resulting in her usually walking in weird directions.
"Give me your Holo-Projector." A husky voice shouted as he suddenly pulled out a UV knife, holding it against Diana's neck. "As I said, give me your money or I will slice you." UV knives were pretty much invisible to the naked eye unless you held it under an ultra violet light and were specifically constructed to be invisible from authorities. Unfortunately they were still very lethal. She started to shake, not sure what to do. Never could she account for a time that she was in a life or death situation. Should she just give her the projector? Diana reached slowly into her pocket, growing even more still as the knife was pressed closer, causing a bit of blood to spill onto the knife. |
Chung-Ho usually chose allies to cut through -he might as well, he had gotten enough air. This time was different, though- a woman was being mugged by a much older male and it seemed as if he was wielding a UV knife. Woah, didn't see that coming, he thought gazing ahead.
Thinking quickly, Chung picked up heavy rock and threw up a couple of times, before pitching it towards the back of the mugger's head. "Hey!" he called out as the rock hit its mark. |
