Hello, again, picture-post! As you might have guessed, I am back from a long hiatus. I will now take this time to address some of the old comments. =]

Thank you! I try to save the violence for the webcomic.

Those are characters from my webcomic: Garrett, Leonard, and Hans

I really like the top piece, too.
Is there any meaning or symbolism behind it?
|
Its based on a dream I once had where a painting came to life and ate my shoe. o_o
But for the most part, its expressing how I've felt before when I've had writer's block

I'm really liking the top one, all except for the dresser/desk. The drawers could use some point perspective on them. Other than that, for some reason I love how the person is hunched over. xD Makes it seem more "natural", I suppose.
|
Eh... perspective isn't my strongpoint.
He is hunched over because he is depressed. =O

Wow, beautiful stuff. I really love the watercolored pics in your gallery. The colors seem to melt together so well! (Eek< I love watercolors and ink). I really must agree that your top image here is quite wonderful. I love the whole feel too it.
|
Thank you! I get to take a class in watercolor this semester. I hope it turns out alright.

I am completely in love with the coloring of the second piece, there. Beautiful!

Thank you. It was actually an experiment in reductive watercolor.

I love your use of cross hatching on the first piece. It really adds depth without looking cluttered or overly busy. The second one is also nice with the use of warm colors to give visual warmth to an emotionally warm piece. You're quite talented
|
Talent can only get you so far, really. I've been in school, studying art for the past four years. ^^;;

I agree about the breather thing, work actually makes more work. If you stop you might get that block you have posted up there ...
|
The Hyenas are probably my greatest accomplishment. They'll smile cutely at you while they eat you from the feet up. =]

you have a unique style, and you do some really great stuff with colors. Your drawings have just the right amount of color and the right combinations or colors.

You think so? I always thought they were a little too bold. ^^'

Hehe, I like your style. Is that water coloring? I'd like to learn that tech, but I never tried for real.
|
The top one is copic marker, actually. The bottom one is watercolor, though. I took a class once and now I'm about to take another. I thought it would be a good idea to get some practice in.
