Within the Internet
Story:
It's the year 4862 and the human race had polluted the earth to such an extent that they all turned to virtual reality for survival. And now they all live within the internet. There are two main races inside this internet world: Us Humans, and the Cybernetics. Us Humans are the same as we were in the real world, beings of flesh and blood. The Cybernetics on the other hand, are programs, made of ones and zeros. But unknown to anyone, demons have been growing in the wasteland of what used to be our green earth. Now they are invading the internet, determined to kill everything living. Things you might want to know: This RP takes place in the Main Internet City. Which is basically a giant city like New York or something. Humans look like Humans. Cybernetics on the other hand can look like most any humanoid creature, make-believe or not.There is some bad blood between the Cybernetics and the Humans, because the Cybernetics feel the Humans have invaded their territory. The Humans are know to be the "peaceful ones" and the Cybernetics to be the "murderers". The demons are blood lusting killers. They have no love for anything but themselves. The younger Cybernetics have am extremely better chance at living if they don't let the demons touch their bare skin for too long a time. They are also better protected, for the demons haven't had the time to implant a virus in the younger Cybernetics, so they are stronger than the older Cybernetics, who have been exposed to this virus for a longer period of time. Rules: 1. Follow Mene TOS. 2. You can be near-invincible but you can't be a god or whatnot. 3. Romance of all kinds is encouraged. As in gay/lesbian/bi/strait, but no cybering. 4. Fighting is also encouraged. 5. No killing other RPCs unless the other RPer doesn't mind. 6. PM me your profiles. 7. Only two RPCs per person at any one time. As in if your RPC dies, you can make another. 8. If you have any questions, PM me. 9. Make the subject of your PM "Internet:>insert human or cybernetic here<" so I know you've read these rules and what race you are. 10. Keep this RP semi-lit. 11. When playing two RPCs, please make it clear as to who is who, like having a different color for each RPC or separating the two posts by a space. Red = Dead Humans: Username: Sea48 Name: Alia Age: 13 Background: Alia is semi-sweet, but has a quick temper. She is tough, and has a black belt in Karate. Alia will defend anyone anywhere, she is not someone you want to mess with. Weapons: Hypnotism, photographic memory, and force field. Abilities: Forcefield, levitation, and invisibility. Appearance: Long brown hair, ice blue eyes, skinny and average height. Other: She has a pet sugar glider that is almost always hiding in her pocket. Username: Euphor!a Name: Chief Peppers Age: 30 Background: Peppers is a head strong woman, who wouldn't let her dream of becoming chief be stopped. She became a cop when she left collage at the age of 18, and she worked her way to become chief at the age 29. Weapons: Standard officer hand gun. Abilities: Able to throw fire balls, immune to magic and fire. Appearance: Peppers Other: None Username:Retsu Name:Jessie Age:19 Background:Jessie sometimes seems younger than her 19 years, because she can be very hyper and childish, but she also has her mature side. She is very powerful, especially for a human, but she doesn't enjoy hurting people, human or Cybernetic, unless they really piss her off. She has a relatively short temper, and when it snaps, she will not hesitate to attack. Weapons:2 katanas, one at her hip and one strapped to her back; 2 fighting knives strapped to her thighs: Jessie's knives Abilities:Ability to communicate with animals, lightning summoning and control, telekinesis Appearance:Jessie Just add the katanas and knives, and add leggings under the dress Other:She's accompanied by a pitch-black she-wolf with piercing golden eyes named Kage ("shadow"). Kage will often assist in battle. Cybernetics: Username: Queen Haythia Mlerkrad Name: Olympus Age: 97 years, 6 months, 108 days, 22 hours, 16 minutes, 3 seconds and counting. What age do you look like: 16/17 Background: Olympus is one of the older Cybernetics, and he has built up his power to the point where its near impossible to hurt him. He was always the one to take charge and has always been looked upon as a controller. But Olympus has yet to show his dark side. He loves the taste of blood and the sound of screams and enjoys hunting difficult prey. In fact it's his favorite pastime. He will kill human and Cybernetics alike, there is no difference to him. Weapons: This sword and two daggers. Abilities: Extreme agility, can become invisible, can control black magic, super strength, teleportation, can control extremely young Cybernetics to a certain point (can make them stop moving or have no more voice, nothing big). Appearance: Pics one two and three. Other: He's not exactly a big fan of girls, if you know what I mean ;). Olympus also smokes sometimes, but since he is a Cybernetic, the cigarettes don't harm him in any way. Username: Euphor!a Name: Yu Age: 3 years, 4 months, 122 days, 14 hours, 45 minutes, 34 seconds and counting. What age do you look like: 18 Background: Yu is a young cybernetic, and he wishes that everyone can just get along, however if confronted with a human problem, then he will not hesitate to hurt or kill the human or humans. He was built as a hope for peace between the races, but with a 2nd job. To make sure that fights don't get out of hand if any occur. So he's like a Police Officer for Peace. Weapons: Eye laser placed in his left eye, a hand gun built into his right hand. Abilities: Agility, can posses humans minds, flight. Appearance: Yu Other: When not on duty, Yu often is mixing tunes at home. Username: Queen Haythia Mlerkrad Name: Cheshire Age: 2 years, 4 months, 78 days, 9 hours, 35 minutes, 6 seconds ans counting. What age do you look like: 14 Background: Cheshire is a young Cybernetic, and she loves that fact. She is a very playful girl, easy to get along with. Though once you piss her off there is little you can do to escape her wrath. Cheshire is also a petty thief. She steals purses and jewelry, and other such little things. But she would never steal from a friend. And unlike most of the Cybernetics, Cheshire likes the Humans. She likes to befriend them in her cat form and then surprise them by changing back to her humanoid form. It's not like she hates other Cybernetics, she just was programed to get along with both races. Weapons: This. Abilities: Strong hypnotic ability, invisibility, can turn into a cat, strong agility, night vision, and heightened senses (like those of a cat). Appearance: Her normal form and her cat form. Other: When she's in her cat form, she can change the color of her pelt. She can also speak both English and cat. Username:Retsu Name:Moonlight, sometimes called Moon Age:4 years, 8 months, 20 days, 10 hours, 30 minutes, 2 seconds and counting What age do you look like:20 Background:Moonlight is a middle-aged Cybernetic, so to speak, and is somewhat mellow, actually. She pretty much just wanders, and has little to no tolerance for idiots, or for bullies, whether they are human or Cybernetic. If she likes you, even a tiny bit, she's a terrific friend, and great traveling companion. If you get on her bad side, though, watch out. She is merciless, and can be a cold-blooded killer if pushed too far. Weapons:2 sai at her hips; claws; kusari-gama (chain scythe) at her hip: Moonlight's kusari-gama Ignore the chick in the picture, I'm just using this pic for the weapon... Lol Abilities:Shapeshifting, ice and water summoning and control, speed (about 2-3 times faster than the average human), anything and everything associated with wolves, including the ability to communicate with them Appearance:Normal form (Except that both legs are covered) Wolf form Other:In the "feud" between humans and Cybernetics, Moonlight is pretty much neutral. She'll befriend both humans and Cybernetics. Demons: Name: Acce Rank: Warrior Weapons: Sword (just the sword, ignore the person.) Abilities: Control over fire and magma, flight, invisibility. Appearance: Acce(Her skin is an ash gray and her eyes glowing crimson red.) |
Olympus sat on the edge of the rooftop smoking a cigarette. Blood stained his clothing and his skin. Behind him lay a Cybernetic who looked about twenty years old, but his program had only been running for about three years. The Cybernetic had been cut and stabbed in his chest to such an extent that there was now a hole there. Blood leaked over to where Olympus was sitting. He stood up, he had enough blood on him for now. Olympus flicked his cigarette off the side of the roof and walked casually on the edge. Hanging on a gargoyle in the top-right-hand-corner of the building was Olympus' trench coat. He put in on. The cool night was light up by the city's lights, a beautiful sight. Olympus closed his eyes and disappeared in a puff of swirling black smoke. Seconds later he appeared on the sidewalk of the street that had once been directly below him.
"What to do now..." He muttered to himself, looking around. |
Yu was just breaking up a fight few buildings away from Olympus's building."I'll give you five seconds to put the gun down before I shoot you."He treatened.There was a group of at least three humans and three Cybernetics."And I thought you wanted to keep peace?"The human leader joked.Yu frowned,and shot the man in the leg with his hand gun"Yeah,and I'll keep it.Now get out of here..all of you."He stated looking at the Cybernetics.The six of them gave him a glare before walking out of the street going in two different directions. Yu sighed and transformed his hand gun back into his hand.Then he began walking down the street.

Olympus hear the sound of a gun being fired. The sound was distance but close.
"I wonder." He said walking toward the sound. After a building or two Olympus could make out the figure of a young man walking his way. Olympus sped up his pace. A few moments later Olympus was standing in front of the other man. The man was a Cybernetic, a young one at that. "Good evening." Olympus said. |
Yu was a little startled by his voice."Nah...er...hello."He stated. He then looked around a little uneasy before asking."You need my help?"Yu was one of the best offiers in the city,but not the best with strangers greeting him randomly.

"Help?... No, I was just saying 'good evening' officer." Olympus said.
He had noticed the man's badge as he said 'good evening'. "I was wondering, were you the one who shot the gun?" Olympus asked. If the officer did shoot the gun, Olympus had nothing interesting to go look at, but if not he would continue on his way. ((hey I've got to go, little brother wants the computer. I'll be back on in like thirty minutes.)) |
"Oh!..hehe...."He stated rubbing the back of his neck."Yeah,I had to the gangs were fighting,and the human leader wouldn't back down."He stated."I don't understand humans."He then adding sighing while shrugging his shoulders.

"Aha." Olympus chuckled.
"I never have really understood them myself. Even though my program has been running a couple years longer than the Humans have been here." Olympus said leaning up against the building behind him. A sly smile came over his face. "Say, I know a nice little coffee shop not to far from here. Care to join me?"He asked. Yes Olympus was flirting somewhat, but this guy was a cop. Olympus plus cop equaled trouble for Olympus. But what was the harm in treating the cop to coffee? ((Okay, I'm back. Oh, I need to know what age your guy is supposed to look like, I need to add that to the Cybernetics profile.)) |

Yu thought for a moment.He knew that this guy knew he was a cop,so he was safe from any kind of harassment,but still doubts were in his mind."um...sure..."He stated a little hesitantly.He hated meeting new people by random, normally if he were with his friends,and they were in a group he'll have some kind of emotional support,now he was alone,and he also hated being alone. |

Olympus smiled. "This way." He said. Olympus started down the street that they were on. A couple block later a neat little coffee shop came into view. The words "Angel's sweet little coffee shop" were written in glowing neon lights. In the window a neon "open" sign glowed beside the door. Olympus held the door open for the cop. When they were both inside Olympus went up to the counter. "Aye, Angel! You home?" He called. A young woman with long golden hair and sky-blue eyes came up. "Hey there Olympus." She smiled at him. "What can I get you tonight?" She asked. "I'll have the usual." He told her. "Alrighty. And how about your friend there?" she nodded at the cop. Olympus turned to him. "What'd you like?" He asked. |
He was startled again."Um...nothing right now..."He stated.Yu was nervous,I mean he just broke up a fight,then this guy comes up to him.Then there's the guy who keeps killing everyone running loose,so now he's defenatly on edge.My job's going to be the end of me...Yu thought as he looked around at the shop.

Olympus shrugged. Angel smiled.
"I'll start making it now. Y'all go sit down." she said warmly. Olympus went over to the nearest table and sat down. For a moment he pondered weather he should take is trench coat off, but decided against it. He didn't want to cause trouble for Angel. She was sweetie, Olympus didn't want to loose her. "So whats your name officer?" He asked. Olympus was amused by how on edge the guy was. He was so young, so easy.... Olympus put the thought out of his head. He was a cop. Killing a cop would only cause Olympus trouble. ((Meep! I've got to. I'll be back in thirty minutes. Maybe less. Depends on whether my little brother want to be nice or not DX.)) |
Yu took one more look around before saying."Yu."Then he removed his coat,and placed it on the side."How come you asked me out for coffee?"He then asked folding his hands across the table."I mean it seems kinda of strange to me,and I'm a cop which is even stranger."He continued. Even though Yu was a little anxious sometimes he was on target when it came to detail and behavorial differences in both Cybernetics and humans.

Angel brought out Olympus' coffee and set it down in front of him.
"It'll be on your tab." she said. Olympus took a sip of his coffee, thing over what he should tell Yu. "I asked you out for coffee because I felt like being nice." Olympus said. He took a sip of his coffee and smirked. "I also wanted to see how long it would take you to figure something out. Of course I'm not going to tell you what that something is. That would take all the fun out of it." Olympus said looking Yu in the eye. Olympus loved to toy with the younger ones. He wondered how long it would take Yu to figure out that Olympus was somewhere on the top ten most wanted list. |
Yu became a little more anxious.Instead of asking him directly he asked."I didn't catch your name.What was it?"He remembered that when he was put on the case of the murders of killer, he was given a list of names,the names were in alphabetical order,and Olympus was on that list. Being a Cybernetic he memorized the list in a instant."And why would you think I would excuse you of something?"While he asked he readied his eye for any kind of defence.

Olympus smiled and stood up.
"Just the question I wanted to hear, but lets take it outside. Angel doesn't like me getting into games in her shop." He said. Olympus walked out side of the shop and waited for Yu. When the cop came out, Olympus prepared himself for an attack. "My name, officer, is Olympus." He said calmly, finishing his coffee and tossing it into a trash bin. "And I do think you will me accusing me of murder now." Olympus said, feeling quite happy with himself. What was Yu going to do now? Arrest him? That wouldn't work. Olympus would toy around with him some more, see what other amusement he could get out of this young one. ((I've got to go. Be back on later tonight and tomorrow.)) |
"Olympus...nice name."Yu stated smiling."No no.Just curious."He stated placing his hands into his pockets."I mean I've seen your name,but I don't play a big part in the case.I have enough to handle with the many fights that go on here, I can't have a crazy killer on my mind as well."He lied. He was a good lier, with all the axnious attitude he puts out there, he learned to lie to keep himself safe.

Olympus frowned.
"Oh?" He asked. Well that was a bummer. Though Olympus was still ready to 'poof' away if he needed to "So you stick with the simple stuff eh?" Olympus asked walking away from Angel's shop. ((Small setback. I'm back :sweat:.)) |
I can't beleive he bought that...Yu thought."Yeah,as you may have figured out, I'm not the most stable Cybernetic on this side of the city."He stated scratching the back of his head.
....but let me play it cool while he's still around, then I could tell the others,but that might back fire on me...He then added on to his previous thought. |
Olympus cocked his head to one side, still walking.
"Not the most stable? You mean anxiety? Thats normal for a Cybernetic your age, plus it might be embedded in your program. He said. Olympus felt like Yu was hiding something. "Are you hiding anything from me?" Olympus asked smoothly. Yu was a young program, Olympus might still be able to get a few things out of him. ((BF finnal called. Be back on later tonight (like 11-12) and tomorrow.)) |
He shook his head."Nope."He stated with confidence."Anyway,I hope it goes away,it's starting to wear on my patenice...."He stated sighing deeply."I hate having to worry all the time."He then added rubbing the side of his head with two fingers.

Olympus stopped abruptly. They were now far enough form Angel's shop that he felt like any fight wouldn't harm her.
"Ha, go away? If it is embedded in your program, all you can do is learn to control it, like the humans do with their emotions." He said looking at Yu in the eyes now. "But tell me, are you hiding anything. Lieing perchance?" He asked, working in his power over younger Cybernetics into Yu's programing. I might work it might not. Yu was at the age where Olympus started losing grip on their minds. |
"N-no" Yu studdered."I'm not hidding,anything." He added. The cybernetic felt something strange, but he pushed it a side."Why would I hide anything?"He then asked."Anyway, thanks for the edvice on contorling my emotions."He replied quickly changign topics to hopfully through this guy off.

A strong minded Cybernetic. Olympus thought. Might want to keep him around.
"Your a cop, you are trained to hide things." Olympus replied. "Though I still think your not telling me something, but I'll live." He said, more as an afterthought. "And your welcome. Its a very simple thing. If you want o know more, look it up in the library files. They'll have something." Olympus said, letting Yu control the conversation. For now. |
