Thankfully I wasn't a hostage. ^^;; But... weellll, I was indeed sorta almost part of the hostage situation. >3>;;
I ran out of the house to cover the event with my photojournalism professor. Didn't go near though, since I didn't want to disrupt police operations (unlike some media men out there >3>). Didn't stay for too long either, since when my mom found out about it she had a huge fit about me running off into dangerous situations and forced me back home. x_x;; And while I understand her point about the whole situation being too dangerous, I mean, I'm not taking up journalism to sit poshly in my desk and write all day. ^^;; But yeah, going to go back tomorrow to see the aftermath. I feel so bad about it though, since it was a very unfortunate situation. :'< </3 |
