She gaped at his mother. What a hard woman. she'd hate to have that woman as an inlaw. " So you are telling me, I ran away from being married but I ran into and fell for the one I was going to marry anyway?"

Xavier's mother snapped her head towards Crysanthe, "You fell for Xavier?!?" Her eyes had bludged in disbelief and Xavier smiled and faced his mother, "Told you I could get anyone to fall for me...." He walked back over to Crysanthe and pulled her into his arms lightly.

She pulled away. 'Excuse me?" she said insulted. " I'm just an "anyone?" she asked. " How many other woman have you had fall for you?"

Xavier pulled her close rolling her eyes, "None.. that's why she's surprised..." He held her close not letting her get away.

She looked towards his mother. " I don't want to go back...I am fine with being away from home."

His mother looked at Crysanthe, "Your father has control of you, Xavier will come home. He will stay home." There was no doubt in her voice as she spoke.

" and what about the marriage?" he asked. " Or are you going to keep him away from me now?"
|
"My son will not be out of my kingdom until our kingdoms are joined as he is to her." She pointed her long finger at Crysanthe. {sorry it took so long}

" We already mated you know....so before you think about keeping us apart...if I get with child, he will be the father."
|
"You will not be apart long. The date is set, or at least it was, unless your father has changed it...." She waited for Crysanthe's father to speak.

"Things will go as planned. The next moonturn you two will be wed. Plans are already made, the ceremony is all that is needed." Crysanthe's father said

"That is what I suspected." She spoke smiling slightly.

" Now come along Crysanthe...we're going home." he said
|
Xavier squeezed her tight and whispered, "Don't worry.... all will be okay..." He slowly dropped his arms and nudged her towards her father. "Xavier, you too we're leaving." Xavier walked behind his mother.

Crysanthe was let go by Xavier and she trudged behind her father. One of his aides but a warm coat on her to keep her warm in the cold of the mountain tops.

The groups walked together down the side of the mountain.... it was clearer outside, but still cold. Xavier didn't like the fact that Crysanthe had to walk herself, but he didn't see a way around it. They walked for many hours, before reaching the base, where horses, different then the ones that Xavier and Crysanthe had ridden to the base. Xavier helped Crysanthe onto her horse and kissed her hand, before leaving her in her father's care. He climbed on his own horse, and followed his mother and her gaurds.

They went in semi different directions. Eventually her father and his aides veered off towards the right so she followed the throng. She watched to her left, watching Xavier as he eventually disspeared into the trees. She turned and looked down at the horses' mane as they rode on.
Hours later they arrived at their kingdom. She dismounted and was escorted by one of the maids to her room. |
As soon as they reached the kingdom, Xavier was dragged off of the horse and up to his room... he was practically thrown in and the door slammed and locked. His mother didn't take running away lightly at all....

She went to her room and sat on the bed. She looked out the window sadly. She didn't like being shut away. Now she was back where she started from.

Xavier waited as days passed, the only human... or elvan contact he recied was his old nurse maid, whom delievered his daily meals, twice a day.

when the day came a month later, her father had the main hall decorated and a gown sent up for her to put on. She was told that Xavier and his mother was traveling by carriage.

Xavier was ready earlier that morning, hardly able to keep busy. He helped his mother dress in a very fasionable green dress. http://img.alibaba.com/photo/1066504...Gown_Black.jpg
They left at mid day... making it to Crysanthe's kingdom by sundown. |
Crysanthe was told to wait in her room after she was dressed. She was to come down to the main hall when Xavier arrived and was waiting in the main hall.

Xavier escorted his mother from the carriage though the main doors, and into the hall. He was then asked to wait as the king and queen were notified. He calmly waited, holding his mother's hand.

Crysanthe's father led Xavier to the podium. He then sent for Crysanthe who came downstairs and through the double doors in the dress she was given.
