" That'd be....okay I guess." she said. She eyed him. " do we need anything to show we're married?"

Xavier dug into his pocket... and ate something, "don't move..." He said leaning over her shoulder. He lightly breathed on her.. and for a second it felt like ice...

She blinked and felt the cold breath. " What...is that?" she asked shivvering for a moment from the cold.

"A temp..." Xavier answered pulling slowly away from her. "Take a look" He pointed to a pond.

She leaned over and looked into the water.

There, right where Xavier had breathed, a small blue flowery design... "I thought it fit you..." He whispered looking away slightly. The design shimmered and fadded to a clear sparking color.

" A marriage mark?" she asked. " where is yours?" she wondered..." Ask me to blow it on you?"

Xavier shifted to show a matching one fading away on his shoulder, "See?"

" how long will these last?" she asked. " And we should act like a married couple too....I suppose"

"It would be helpful, and they last, until I remove that one..." he pointed to her neck...

she sucked in a breath. " We aren't carrying much...wouldn't that be suspicious? shouldn't we need bags and stuff....horses maybe? I mean I think we can get away with on foot. But we don't look like we're planned for travel."

"Ah.. but a newlywed couple hardly ever carries anything.... they never have a need. When my sister married she only carried one small bag. Just like elves, dwarves can do magic, so they find it easier, like most to just use magic to get something." He replied shaking his head.

she muttered not voicing her comment out loud. " fine...lets go, its late."

Xavier didn't move, "What's got you all upset?" He asked staring at her.

" its nothing......I'm fine...lets just go."

Xavier grabbed her arm, "no you're not fine... and I'm not going anywhere until we get to teh bottom of what is wrong... If we are going to act married, you are going to have to trust me!"

She looked at him. " All I'm miffed about..is how you flaunt how smart you are...constantly...well at least how smart you think you are."

"Oh... so you'd like me to shut up then?" Xavier asked looking at her sencerly.

" No....I just don't want you showing off." she said. " Now, lets go."

"Oh alright... but you're no fun...." Xavier pouted, but walked with her anyway.

She walked on. She kept her eyes out for any body or any thing. She eventually found a dirt road.

Xavier followed in silence... waiting for something anything to happen.

She turned around and looked at him. " Maybe this road will lead to an inn"

"As long as it stays going east... we'll find many." Xavier statedf thinking to hisself.

After a while she saw a building in the distance. She turned around and looked at Xavier. " there....that looks like one"
