"Yeah...." He agreed softly grabbing her hand, "for appearances... of course."

She looked at his hand. They walked into the inn and let him talk to the inn keepert.

"Go over there, act normal..." He whispered before gently kissing her cheek and walking forward. He began talking with the inkeeper as if they were best friends.
|
She walked over where indicated and stood there waiting patiently.
|
Xavier laughed at something and took the key he was handed... then he leaned in and whispered something to the dwarf, before turning back and walking to her, smiling.
|
She followed him up to the room. When he unlocked the door and went inside she went over and sat on the bed, breathing a sigh of relief.
|
"Not to bad...." he muttered looking around. He smiled at her... "They shouldn't be bothering us.."
|
"Thats good." she said. " I'm glad we got the room without a problem."
|
"yes... he was worried... since there apparently was a war declared, but I assured him, we're just going a few miles north.... away from a few problems." Xavier whispered pulling off his shirt.

She stared at him undressing. " um.....you aren't going to get naked are you." she asked.

Xavier smiled at her and shook his head, "No... but I'm not going to stay fully dressed... and uncompfortable. Plus I'll probably go in there" He pointed to to a door, "and bathe... alone..." He added.

"well I sure as heck wasn't going to follow you inside." she said. " I'll stay out here and probably go to sleep."

"well I never know with you..." Xavier chuckled. "You take the bed, I'll sleep in the chair," he pointed to a chair in the corner.

She walked over to the bed and sat down. She watched him leave the bedroom and go into the bathroom.

Xavier took a warm bath,only getting out of the tub after heating the water for the fourth time. What am I going to do?Xavier quickly dried off and got dressed. He walked out of the bathroom, wet hair dripping down his face. He flopped down on the chair and laid his head back.

By that time Crysanthe was asleep. Her golden hair was fanned all over the pillow, her dark lashes caressing her pink cheeks. The stead rise and fall of her chest let Xavier know she was sound asleep

Xavier smiled at the sound of Crysanthe's light breathing. He wished he could go over, and hold her... she looked so beautiful lying on the bed. However he knew that they were no more then two run aways, and that was probably best. He closed his eyes, wanting only to sleep.

The next morning she woke up. She sat and yawned, rubbing her eyes. She looked over and saw Xavier about to fall off the chair. She smiled and went over and righted him.

Xavier hadn't fallen asleep easily, but he had had a fairly decent dream. As he was moved byCrysanthe, he mumbled something, Which sounded like..."too pretty...." then he rolled over and snored lightly.

She blinked. " who is too pretty?" she asked aloud. " Surely not me."
|
Xavier mumbled again, "too pretty for her own good.... mine too.."
|
She stared at him. She shook his arm." Xavier....wake up..before you emberass yourself further."

Xavier's arm flew up and grabbed her, pulling Crysanthe down next to him, he mumbled again, "hmmm..... perfect..." he held her close still asleep.

She eeked when she was pulled to him. "Xavier.." she said. " Please wake up." she said trying to pull away.
|
Xavier's eyes slowly opened at her request and he froze when he saw her on top of him. "Wha... What are you doing??!?!?!" He carefully pushed her off and scurried to the other side of the room.
