" I didn't do it...." she said. " you're the one who pulled me onto you...I was just trying to wake you. I believe after you did grab me...you mumbled something was perfect."

Xavier went pale and muttered, "N...no... no I.. I didn't...." He turned away from her and took a deep breath.

" I was sort of there. I knew what happened." she said. " You grabbed me."
|
"No... you must have fallen...." Xavier stated dryly. He hadn't spoken in his sleep for years. And now, all of a sudden he was doing it again, and the worst part was that the one person who shouldn't hear his dreams, the center of his dreams, was the person he'd be spending the next few nights with.

Her face went serious. " I know what happened. I'm not clumsy...so I didn't fall. " she said. " I went to wake you because you were talking in your sleep and you reached out and grabbed me."

Xavier faced her and laughed a dry laugh, "Ha... I don't talk in my sleep..." he lied....

She growled. "Fine!" she said. " I"m not arguing with you!" she stormed away and planted herself on the bed.

Xavier immediately felt horrible.. slowly he walked over to her.. "Don'tbe angry, please...." He begged. He looked down at her, "truth is, I use to talk in my sleep... it's kind of a touchy subject.."

" Why lie about it? I just told you what you did and you call me a liar...even though I was your victim!"

"My victum?!" Xavier asked, "hardly.... more or less... well never mind..." he looked away ashamed.

" what are you rambling on about?" she asjked. " You are making no sense."

"It's erm... nothing.. we should get something to eat." Xavier said walking to the dorr, "I'm starved, you?"

"changing the subject. " she muttered. " You need to talk it out...not keep it in."
|
"Um... not with you..." Xavier answered before ducking out the door.

She sighed. " forget it." she said and layed back on the bed> " when he comes in again I'll ignore his butt."

Xavier ate quickly and walked back up stairs. He knocked on the door... not wanting to walk in on her.

She didn't answer. She just stared up at he ceiling.

Xavier knocked again.. more frantically..
|
" jeeze come in already." she bit out. " God..."
|
Xavier entered, "And why didn't you answer when I first knocked?" HE asked spotting her on the bed.

She just shrugged and turned her back towards him and ignored him
|
Xavier grabbed her sholder and turned her back to face him, "What did I do this time?" He couldn't take her being angry at her.

" absolutely nothing." she said. " as soon as we get out of the dwarven lands....we are seperating."

"Are we? And why is that?" Xavier asked sitting down so he could look into her eyes.
