Evan smiled at her "I know where some food is and where are some supplys, I should be back in a few hours." he said as he looked at her.

"But, you are sick!" She argued, wondering where he would get such a notion to leave. "You have to stay and rest!"

"and if I dont leave we will run out of food soon." he said as he looked at her. "you have to stay here and look after Charmeleon."

"but you could easily do that!" she argued weakily, knowing she was going to lose this battle.

Evan smiled at her "yes I could but you dont know where the food is so I win." he said and saw how worryed she was. He slid off Arcanine for a second and found that he almost couldn't stand, but he did. He carefully made his way over to her and kissed her gently "I will be back I promise." he said then jumped back onto arcanine and was gone."

Thorn's face turned red and she dashed out of the cave to see the tiny speck that was Arcanine dissapear. She sighed and went to Charmeleon. Pikachu had been watching him. "Charmeleon, do you think he will be alright?" she asked. He lay a comforting hand on her shoulder and Pikachu hugged her. "Your right you two. Now it's time to get to work."

Arcanine ran and ran till they came to what looked like a destroyed house. Ivan then slid off when they got to it and started to dig down. Arcanine helped a little bit and soon they found a door. Ivan smiled and opend it, stairs that lead down where behind it. Ivan said for Arcanine to stay here since it wasn't big enought for him. He walked down and soon was in a basment that had some food and blanket but a lot of it was destoryed from what looked like a cave in. Ivan soon came back out with a huge backpack and climbed onto arcanine. "l-l-let g-g-go." he managed to say threw chatterng teeth and arcanine started to run back.

Thorn had managed to build a wall with a small opening near the bottom. She felt happy that she had done something useful while Evan was gone.

Evan soon got back and smiled seeing the little whole. He got off of arcanine and returned him into his pokeball. Then he crawled inside threw the opening. "did I take long?" he asked as he brought in the huge bag.

"As a friend, I would say yes, to long. But timewise..." she looked at her clock. "Only half an hour. Now you get some rest, I didn't build this wall for nothing."

Evan nodded and set the bag down, "everything I could get is in here." he said as he opend it up and brought out three blankets. He put one around Thorns shoulders and kissed her nose then handed one to the pokemon. then leand agenst the wall and wrapped himself in his blaket to get warm.

"You shouldn't have left, now you'll be cold again and we have to keep you warm!" She sighed and went over to Charmeleon who obviously was hungry. She dug in the sack and found some soup.

Evan smirked "but at least you and Charmeleon will have food now." he said as he moved closer to the fire.

"I easily could have gone.. somewhere and gotten food!" she protested. "Anyway, where did you find this stuff?" she handed the bowl of soup to Charmeleon.

Evan sighed "I went back to my old house." he said softly

Thorn thought back. "I thought that it had burned down." she said. "I'm sorry, I shouldn't have asked."

Ivan nodded sadly "it did burn down but not the basement where we stored everything. " he said softly

"Oh, I'm sorry." she went over and hugged him. "Thanks anyway, we did run out of food."

Evan smiled lsightly and kissed her head "yeah I guessed that since we didn't manage to get food at the last town."

Thorn laughed. "Yeah. I hope they are alright." She actually had sent Pideotto out to check on them, she would be back soon.

Evan nodded "yeah and hopefully we can get to the police soon."

Pideotto came in soon. She told them that the little girl had ran all the way to the next town and alerted the police. The Spiritomb was now gone and the villagers were fine.

Evan nodded "that is great." he said happly

"Yeah." she thought for a little while. "Maybe we could just stay here for awhile Evan." she said. She had sat down next to him and was leaning on Arcanine.

Evan smiled and kissed her head "yeah, we can if you want." he said softly as he wrapped a arm around her and pulled her closer.
