Oh yes I did. Sorry for running off. I was just really frustrated because Solia kept going offline so I just logged off everything to play Gaia's zOMG thing. xDD Thanks though.

Well I really like Solia and it's fun, but I guess they underestimated what the event was going to do to their servers and the new servers won't be up til Monday. D;
I love the zOMG. x3 But it's hard and something you have to put a lot of time into it. Otherwise it's really fun and so far most people get along and help each other out which is cool. I've never played a MMO so I think it's awesome. xD Right now they're having problems with the Flash system making it "lag" when it tries to delete old data or something. But apparently they're working really hard at fixing that. |
Ooh. XD I think i'll play the zOMG when it's fixed up a little more. haha. i joined solia but didn't like that they "took over" that other website. ^^;; so i never really went on it. I wish they started their own website instead. o-o |
Well it's still technically an Open Beta. xD So it's not perfected yet.
And... they took over a website? O_O I just joined in August. I have no idea. |
yep. i don't understand why they did that! they tookover another website called tornfaun i believe. and kept their userbase and some of the items.. which was my dislike toward them. ^^;; i believed that with their skill and pixels they could've done it on their own without having to buy tornfaun's userbase. |
Hmm... I'm sure they coulda done it themselves, but maybe buying the other one was cheaper for them? O: I have no idea. xD Maybe they didn't know how to start one. lol
I've seen people mention tornfaun, but I had no idea what it was. And I also head of people saying that something major happened and the whole site changed, but I didn't know they got bought out and that's what it is now. xD Well thanks for explaining it. I really had no idea though I have seen people talking about portions of the story of what happened. O_o |
yeah. i gave you the gist of it. XD Tornfaun was a failing avatar website. ^^;; and i don't mean to offend anyone but it didn't have the best looking base or items. maybe it was cheaper. xD i dunno. :3 did you just join mene also? |
Well if it was failing, then it was probably better that they bought it out. xD That was the original owners wouldn't competely lose out, and Solia had something to start with. I've seen a lot of avatar sites that have weird looking avis. O_o;
I joined Mene before I joined Solia which I think was back in August too. I didn't really stick around though because it was too hard for me to earn gold and buy clothes. I was basically naked except the Panda Headphones until today. I totally forgot about this place til my friend said there was a Halloween event that had cheap/free clothes so I came back so I could atleast dress myself in something. xD I also got really distracted with Solia since I like that site more... so I forgot about this one. xD |
