I get to watch Sherlock on HD tonight since I'm visiting my parents, huzzah. For the amount of TV me and my flatmate watch we can't really afford or justify a subscription so we have Freeview.

Mark Gatiss wrote The Great Game (so says the BBC website). No idea whether he's written any lines for himself. XD

Lost in Austen 08-08-2010 06:04 PM

-sigh- I probably won't have time to watch Sherlock until later this week. Nobody spoil it for me!! :XD

KatMagenta 08-08-2010 06:25 PM

I'll probably be in no fit state to type after it so just pretend I've posted a spoiler box that just contains the word "Wibble" in advance, then I don't actually have to do it. ^_~

Lost in Austen 08-08-2010 07:23 PM

Agh.... I just heard that this is the final episode of Sherlock! What the frick? I thought it was gonna be a proper SERIES, not a miniseries. *cries* I won't have anything to watch on TV anymore. :o

KatMagenta 08-08-2010 10:12 PM

I now want it to be the 30th so I can have the DVD. Wibble.

The BBC would have to be worse than mad to not commission a full series but with Moffat's writing commitments and Cumberbatch's other filming commitments, well...

Lost in Austen 08-08-2010 10:52 PM

Well, I still havn't watched it yet, but apparently there was a real cliff-hanger. So they've GOT to have more in the future. Because if not, that wouldn't be a very wise thing to do to all these devoted new fans, now would it? lol

KatMagenta 08-08-2010 11:19 PM

Heh, I'm not sure if I can say anything more without spoiling the episode.

I'll probably be watching it again since my parents had the nerve to make minute amounts of noise in the background. >.<

Darke 08-09-2010 11:23 AM

I missed the final Sherlock too, flew out to California on Friday so no BBC anymore. Maybe I can catch it on the iplayer with a UK proxy.

KatMagenta 08-09-2010 07:45 PM

Good luck with that Darke, but I've seen plenty of links to watch it online and even download it on Tumblr. ^^;

A blog I read linked to this article about Torchwood series 4 a.k.a. Torchwood: The New World here. I'm reserving judgement until they actually film something.

If more people even knew about Doctor Who.... But no. Most of America, being down the shithole, is captivated by "reality" tv.

"Reality" tv = crap. About the only reality show I watch is Dancing with the Stars.
I swear, if my college's cable doesn't have BBC America, I'm gonna scream!

Sixkiller 08-10-2010 02:50 AM

OMG How long have I been gone? What is going on in here?

KatMagenta 08-10-2010 06:39 PM

I was watching NCIS with my mum and McGee compared a shipping container full of hi-tech equipment to the TARDIS. Tony was mean and said something like "Who watches Doctor Who anyway?". ¬_¬

Heh, I didn't even have a TV when I was in university accommodation.

Hallo again Six.

GeminiKizzy 08-10-2010 07:57 PM

My son was watching a live-action Looney Tunes movie w/Brenden Frasier. They had the Darlics in it and my kid kept pausing it for me. "Look Mommy! Doctor Who!"

TaiyoTsuki 08-10-2010 10:59 PM

Well, I'm back to my usuall pure-white self.

Lost in Austen 08-11-2010 01:28 AM

Gemini-- a Looney Toons movie that has Daleks in it?

KatMagenta 08-11-2010 10:02 PM

I'm not sure I've ever seen any Looney Toons films. ^^;

More Sherlock confirmed from the Moffats themselves. WIBBLE.

TaiyoTsuki 08-11-2010 10:02 PM

Hello again everyone! When's this Loony Toons movie supposed to come out?

KatMagenta 08-11-2010 10:32 PM

My own curiosity lead me to Google which lead me to believe the film in question is Looney Toons: Back in Action (2003).

TaiyoTsuki 08-11-2010 11:35 PM

i've never seen that one, but there's no way they're working on it now.

This video's kinda funny: YouTube - ‪High School Never Ends ~ A Hogwarts Video‬‎

GeminiKizzy 08-11-2010 11:52 PM

Yup - the "Back in Action" movie. Has Brenden Fraisier in it. The Darlec spot was small but was still there.

Lost in Austen 08-12-2010 01:46 AM

Oh, I see. lol.

Anyone else reading the blogs of Sherlock Holmes and John Watson?
.........And Molly Hooper?

Connielass 08-12-2010 06:17 AM

Okay, I'm sorry to be a nazi about it, but it's bugging me.

It's spelled Dalek.

There.
Feel free to go about your lives and ignore the spelling bitch.

Lost in Austen 08-12-2010 02:52 PM

"Like"s Connie's post. (I'm a spelling Nazi, too. :ninja: )
