Just so I can try to get to know some of you better... Who is your favorite companion? Mine is Ace, who was Sylvester McCoy's (7th Doctor) companion. I always hated that his time as the doctor was so short. I also liked Leela, Romana & Teagan. |
I need to catch up on the early doctors. I only know the ones from when they started the series back up.

I love Ace, any girl who likes blowing things up half as much as she does is a girl after my own heart.
Afraid it's been a while since I watched any of the classic serials so my favourite modern companions are Donna and Amy. Apparently I like my wimmins feisty. XD |
I love Donna, but something about Amy just irks me.
Maybe because the only face she ever seems to make is 0_0 and I'm getting a bit tired of it. bwahaha. |
As long as it isn't Martha it's all good. I was a little concerned about Donna after the Christmas special, but they did tone down her character just enough to make her not give you a headache while still being entertaining.

The thing that annoyed me the most about Amy was her baby-voice ("Mr Grumpy Face"). I think Karen is just naturally quite wide-eyed. |
It took awhile to get used to Amy Pond, but I did end up liking her. It was so sad with Rory!!! x.x that story line was just amazing.

After Christmas they'll be an Easter series of Doctor Who and an Autumn one too with a massive cliffhanger in between so says Steven Moffat.
(If Torchwood: The New World is shown in the middle that would be amazing) And so my love-hate relationship with The Moff continues- he makes me love things so much I hate him. |

Kat: I know she has naturally wide eyes, and there's nothin wrong with that. It's just that she doesn't make enough interesting expressions, I guess. I just like actors/actresses that have really expressive faces, I s'pose.

So two shorter series next year? I think I'd prefer that actually, spread the Who throughout the year so we don't get withdrawal.
