Aye. It's ridiculous. As soon as he so much as says hello to another girl, I instantly become all quiet and sullen. It's so stupid. I either do that, or the complete opposite -- which is forcing a huge grin and trying to become the girl's best buddy right there to prove to everyone that I'm not jealous... Am I alone in this? Does anyone else do such stupid stuff? :XP

halferty - I can admit to having taken part in all kinds of jealous tomfoolery when it comes to my boyfriend's female friends. :lol:
I did try to be friends with a few of them. I figured if I knew them and they knew me then I could trust the whole situation better. I mean, you wouldn't try to steal your friend's boyfriend! :lol: None of them would talk to me, though, so I gave up on that. Then I realized my boyfriend has really bad taste in friends anyway, and I realized I didn't want to be friends with any of them because the majority are either dumb or mean. (and that's not me being jealous and disliking them just 'cause. They really are usually one of the two, even my boyfriend will admit to that. :lol: )

I've gotten over it for the most part, though. Being a jealous person isn't good for your health in the longterm when you've got a boyfriend who is constantly being asked out by other girls, or they're out of the blue professing their undying love for him. At some point I realized "You know, if he was going to leave me for another girl, I think he'd have done it by now."

As for jealousy, yeah, I've been there myself. In fact I've had the experience of being outright insulted by the little sister of my boyfriend's first ex because she still has the hots for him.

Her bitchiness just makes her physical appearance more ugly.

Good for you, coming to that realization. I hope you'll always have that trust in him.

I wasn't referring to a boyfriend, just a coworker-turned-bestfriend who I also happen to be falling in love with. lol. He's so many different things in my life, and such an important part of my life, that anytime another girl bats her eyelashes at him I get über possessive and weird.

I don't think he likes me, though, so we'll probably never actually date or anything. And I NEVER plan on telling him how I feel. Seriously. If he hasn't figured it out already... >_>

Connie - I want the kitten too! I reeeaaallly love cats, so when I saw that part of that episode I was so busy making cutesy noises that I think I missed part of the scene. :lol: Then the Doctor picked one up and I was like "TAKE IT, KEEP IT FOREVER, HAVE A KITTEN IN EVERY EPISODE." :lol:

Eww, bitchy jealousy... sucks when people get like that. I was once friends with a guy and this other girl was soooo possessive of him (and by possessive I mean physically grabbing him and screaming "HE'S MINE!!!!" She was kind of... she was kind of nuts, and I'm not going to go into all of it right now because it's not relevant. But I don't want other people who think they're a bit possessive to think "I'm possessive so Cherry hates me." No, this girl was just insane about it). She ended up backing me up against a wall and asking me if I liked him or not, swearing she'd do me a favor and find out if he liked me too if I did, although I'm pretty sure she just ended up spreading rumors about me. She was so needlessly aggressive... Didn't help that I was too young to be that good at defending myself from it.

I hope I can keep the trust, too. It's hard, I'm a naturally very insecure person, and I'm not so great at keeping friends, so I tend to constantly feel like "so, everyone else got tired of me, when are you going to leave?" But then other times I feel like "WE'RE GONNA BE TOGETHER FOREVEEERRR!" :lol:

Boys aren't always good at picking up on signs that you like them. Girls aren't either. If you feel so strongly about him, maybe you should consider asking him out. I did that once. I was rejected, but it's better to know than to just be left wondering what could have happened. Ignorance isn't really bliss. :lol:

I've had two kitties, one of them since infancy. Seeing any kitten brings back all those memories, and then I just want another baby kitty . . .

Same here, myself. I always see the posts made on his page by all these girls from the old neighborhood, and each one I see from the single girls always sends a pang of jealousy through me, but I know I can't control who he's friends with, and I have to keep reminding myself that he's not the cheating kind. Then I start remembering all the good memories, and I fall back into the place that just feels right: thinking we'll be together till we grow old and die.

This is very true.
I went ahead and moved in with a guy from TN. In the end it didn't work out, but at least I know that I went for it when I had the chance, and now I'm left with no what-ifs.

Awww, lucky! I've had one kitty. He was around before I was born and he lived until I was about 16. My grandma adopted three kittens over the summer, though. They're pretty much the joy of my life. :lol:

Urgh, yeah, page comments... Those are always terrible because you never have the full story. :lol: A few weeks ago my boyfriend left one on a female friend's page, and out of context it just sounded... bad. :lol: And it sounded like he was intentionally leaving out details to make it vague so I wouldn't know what he was talking about. Moving in with a guy from TN? That's kind of funny, my boyfriend lives right on the border of Tennessee (Virginia side) and I'll be moving in with him in a few years. :lol: I live in Missouri, mind.

That was a huge mistake on my part. Hopefully it will turn out a lot better for you and your guy.

We've been going out for four years, so I sincerely hope it will turn out well. He's... pretty much the most important person I've ever met, and I can't imagine finding someone else like him. We're really in sync. Sometimes I wonder if he's from another planet, but then most of the time it's like we're in exactly the same spot.
