Oh, Crow, I forgot to say: cool cosplay! I attempted a 10 cosplay before myself, but I tried with his brown suit. Didn't have so much luck on that front... the blue suit makes much more sense.

i don't pop in here often cause i am not up to this new season... buuuut i just wanted to say that my boyfriend got me to play minecraft with him and he made a tardis for me! :squee: and you can even teleport to another realm in it... so needless to say i am pretty excited about the whole thing :D

Connielass- Aside from the out of sequence onces I've mentioned before, I've only seen the first two episodes with Eleven. I really think that Amy/Amelia showed her true insight as a companion when she likened the last Star Whale to the Last Time Lord ;)

Cherry Flavored Antacid- Do you have your attempt at your Ten cosplay saved? I'd like to see how you managed. I really wish I had his long brown duster/trenchcoat but no such item exists on Menewsha. The closest one is too short, it is buckled around the waist (and he always wears it open, flying behind him as he runs in his converse sneakers), and it takes away the layer of the dark blue dress jacket, so I had to forego it.

By the by... in the "Suggest a CI" thread I more or less suggested that they make the TARDIS into a CI. Well, I expanded it a bit to be "Phonebooths and Superheroes"... the old phone booth and a superman cape. A modern cyberpunk phone booth with glowy green matrix characters. Perhaps an 'exploded' phone booth with a set of dog ears (Underdog), and last but definately not least, a certain blue "Police Call Box".

That actually sounds like an awesome CI. So far I've only come up with "Un1c0rN?" and I've not even mentioned it yet. Yeah, I tend to neglect my brain cells more than I should.

Crow - I saw the suggestion. I'd definitely not object to a TARDIS! :lol:

I don't have it saved, but I can change into it real quick. I've been meaning to change my avatar anyway. Hold on a sec.

Cherry Flavored Antacid- Your Ten looks much 'friendlier' than mine. But then again, I'm The Crow and known to be creepy, so a bit of that sank in. I do wish the jacket was longer. It does look like we found the same tie and the same pair of sneakers... for all the running he does!

Something I've been meaning to share: some of my favourite Doctor Who moments are where The Doctor tells off WHOLE FLEETS of Aliens just by standing there and talking. The two best ones from Nine (2005, Eccleston) are below:

Yeah, my choice of shoes bugs me. He wears white sneakers with the brown suit, but the only white high tops we have have a red tip, and that looks dumb with this, so I have to go with his blue suit shoes. But... allons-y!

The second video I had to clip myself but for some reason realplayer (What I usually use for simple trims) wasn't playing the sound so I was having to wade my way through Windows Movie Maker for the first time. I really wanted to tag on the riff to Mindless Self Indulgence's "Shut Me Up" at the very end of the video just as a bit of an in-joke.

@Cherry Flavored Antacid- Well FANTASTIC effort on your part anyways. I see you have found the closest equivalent to the Sonic Screwdriver. If you by chance stumble across something that works even better, feel free to let me know :)

I can't think of any item we have that's sonicier. So we must live with looking like we picked it up backwards in a hurry. :lol:

I wonder if a 9 cosplay is possible? I don't think we have a hairstyle for it.

Well I know what my Sonic Screwdriver is doing. It's disabling the weapons systems of the ship sneaking up behind me, because after all I have to talk to them first and give them a chance, under a peaceful council by the proper article of the Shadow Proclamation.
