To change the subject completely! I just watched Silence in the Library + Forest of the Dead and Time of Angels + Flesh and Stone and I've been wondering about River Song, mostly from the first two episodes..

I'll put this in spoilers anyway just in caseX
What I want to know is, was it ever explained why River did not realise when she met 10 that it was a regeneration she'd never met before? Because it was the first time he met her, but it was the only time they met when he was 10. She's said she has pictures of all his regenerations so she should know that this one came before 11 and I'm assuming that's how she recognised him, but she seemed so surprised that he didn't recognise her? And she keeps going 'have we done this or that yet' in spite of this.. I dunno, it just really bothers me. I would've thought Moffat knew he was not going to get another River episode with Tennant before he quit, right?
Also, this is spoiler for season 6 btw! I kept trying to look for signs whether River recognised Amy or knew who she was, but I really couldn't see it. Either she didn't know, or River is a very good actress..

Gees its been awhile since I"ve seen silence in the library. Do you remember that episode were the doctor was going to see some stones and that alien took over someone? I can't remember the name of it >.<

If any of you have the time, I would highly recommend that you go to youtube and watch all of the parts of the Doctor Who Weakest Link special. The two characters that the audience had the biggest reaction ("Awwww") about being kicked off were both K-9, then later, John/Captain Jack. It is a pity about the latter because one of the people who voted for him thought he would be 'safe for sure'. Also, Ann(e?) made him sing for her as he has experience in Musical Theatre and such, and in a sort of "Best of Weakest Link" memories collection, she said something along the lines of how he had a voice of an angel that could melt a heart of ice... in other words hers... :headdesk:

I'm a bit of a digital packrat. I cannot recall where I got it. I do know that the subtitle is cut off; it says: "SOMEWHERE... in Japan..." I didn't make it myself so it is probably floating around elsewhere on the interwebs, but I have such mixed reactions. First of all, it is cute yet unnerving to see a real life pikachu. Secondly I worry about the obsessed owners who did that and hope they at least used non-toxic dye and whatnot. Third, I can't help but wonder what the hapless kitty thinnks about all the intersting attention...

@ Pat's spoilers: I've kind of been wondering similar things after the first two episodes of series six. There seem to be some continuity issues that need to be explained away.

Erm, this just in: Moffit's confirmed a new companion. This is the extent of my knowledge. Apparently Doctor Who magazine announced the news, so maybe they have more details. But at this stage, I doubt it.

Biggles: I hope they do explain them, because this has always bothered me. But then, I dunno, don't they usually explain things like this, even if they do it much much later?

And.. new companion?? For season 7 or..? But Karen confirmed she was going to continue, didn't she? Ahhh I'm excited now to know more! :O

I have seen many people wear a TARDIS corset- mostly at Dragon*Con (i saw one at a smaller con- but it wasn't as nice as the one in the picture). I have also seen the Dalek corset and Cyberman corset. (Those two came with additional props as well.)

I am going to have my husband hunt down Doctor costumers this year at the Con since I shall not be going with the itty bitty in tow (too many people who are too thoughtless). I am hoping that the full Doctor crew is there again this year. Even the guy who managed to put together the Sixth Doctor's coat.

Ljos, the thing you said bothered you about River's first episode has bothered me as well. But it's so unlike Steven Moffat to ever leave loose ends, so I'm hoping he'll figure out a way to patch this one up!
