I don't think they will find baby Melody. Or if they do ever find her in some form younger than Mels, the damage will have already been done. We saw River die in the library, so unless she was being really slow on the regeneration front, she had no regenerations. Meaning she had to have given them to the Doctor when she tried to kill him, which she did because she was brainwashed to. So even if things were wibbly and a few things could be changed, I don't think this one can be, it's too heavily rooted.

I think that's what I'm trying to say (I can't word good). If it was possible to 'rescue' baby Melody then that would mean there would be no Mels or River but those things have already happened and gah. :gonk:

Maybe we'll find out what the Doctor was doing all summer later in the series. Or knowing 11 he was just building the sonic cane and/or choosing that new coat. :lol:

I'm looking forward to Night Terrors even if I imagine I'll be spending most of it hiding behind a cushion. Gatiss! :illgetu:

Yeah, the most widely-accepted theory as to when he told her his name has been (up until this point) his wedding. But now, a lot of people are thinking that that was the moment. And who knows, maybe you need to know a timelord's name in order to use your regeneration power to save him. *shrugs*

I would love it if they invited Neil Gaiman to write yet another episode. I do think he was the most brilliant guest writer that I've taken note of (Guest meaning not RTD or Moffat).

The only line that has the correct number of syllables for it to be a haiku is the last. Other than that, there is no resemblance to haiku there..

Did anyone else notice when River Song regenerated that she went "I'm focusing on a dress size", as if she had some kind of control over her new look? It might have been a joke, but still, it made me wonder, especially as we just had that conversation here about regenerations and control over them..

That's what I thought as well, that the Doctor would've been ginger by now.. but then, Romana did have control over hers, though it's been implied that was because she chose to regenerate rather than having died or something like that? Though I wouldn't put it past the Doctor to actually be able to have some control over his new body, but choosing not to just because.. in the same way that he won't fix the TARDIS' chameleon circuit or take the breaks off when landing/taking off. :P
