hiya Moxie. *waves* |
Next week's episode looks fantastic. I don't really know what it's about, but it just looks neat.
|
I forgot what next weeks episode was to.
|
I hope that I will get to see the new stuff sometime soon.
|
What's keeping you from watching it?
|
This was put on cheezburger today. It was pointed out by my roomate and ended up in my favorites.

Crow - There are too many Captain Jacks. Although I don't have that association with the first name alone since Jack is a family name on one side of my family and I have a Jack on the other side too. So I know too many Jacks to think of either Captain Jack when I hear the name.

I love Captain Jack but he really annoys the doctor
|
So I was finally able to get around to seeing the Pandorica episodes.
LOVE! SO epic. So very! |
@LonelyOtaku- Captain Jack Harkness doesn't always 'really annoy The Doctor', as you put it. There are times when Jack has been downright helpful, intelligent, putting his faith in The Doctor and taking care of other things so the Doctor can do what he needs to do, he agrees with his decisions (such as to send Rose home), and there was that really sad in retrospect scene of Nine, Rose, Captain Jack, and Mickey all talking and laughing while the TARDIS was refueling on the Cardiff rift. They all seem to be genuinely having a good time, and despite the initial negative 'Time Lord Instinct' after Jack was brought back, Ten finally caved and invited Jack to come travel with him again in the TARDIS. He doesn't extend that privledge to very many people, and especially to someone who 'really annoys' him. The character traits the doctor disproves of is far outweighed by Jack's usefulness and loyalty and becoming a good guy after he dropped the Con Man persona after the "Are you my Mummy"/Empty Child incident.
|
@Crow: your right there Jack is interesting especially since he cannot die and he proved very useful when the 10th doctor and Martha traveled to the end of the universe. I love that episode especially with the return of the master. He did prove useful in the nuclear chamber when the rocket couldn't take off.

The new episode made my eyes well up a lil'. Definitely wasn't expecting that from this one! I've got to say that I truly love the characters of Amy and Rory now. They're my favorite companions! Even more than Donna!
|
I was warned that the latest episode was supposed to be a "tear-jerker", and although I didn't cry during the episode, I found myself in silent contemplation for about 10-20 minutes after the episode had ended with watery eyes.
On another note about the latest episode that is non-spoilery as well, I found the music absolutely fantastic. I'm looking forward to the release of the series 6 soundtrack so I can acquire whatever the name of the piece is. |
"HOW. MUCH. BLOODY. LIPSTICK CAN YOU WEAR." (Miracle Day spoilers) |
The Girl Who Waited was really good but I got kinda confused so I had to ask my boyfriend to help explain it to me.

More love for The Ponds from me. ♥
The Girl Who Waited spoilersI can't wait for Thursday so I can see the end of Miracle Day with newly Torchwood addicted friend. :eager: |
Wait, which is rule number one, "Don't wander off" or "Don't ask stupid questions"? I think eleven gave them in a different order to young Amelia but Nine was always ranting at the "Don't wander off" rule...
|
Another variation of rule one is- The Doctor lies.
|
I guess The Doctor can't keep his own rules in order. Just like he couldn't keep the instruction numbers in order that he left to Martha when he was temporarily human. I don't like "The Doctor Lies" rule as much... in fact I don't think I've heard any other than Eleven vocalize that one.
|
Speaking of ponds my avatar is Amy Pond now >.<
The Doctor is never order its just his way of thinking oh and his talking fast. |
The Girl Who Waited definitely had me very watery-eyed. It might have turned into an actual cry, but the video started buffering right in the middle of the sad part, so that gave me a cool down period. And I'd kind of had a rough day, so after that made me so sad (not that it wasn't a good episode - it was a great episode) I was like "Okay, Moffat. You've done enough to me. I'm going to watch something that will make me feel better." So I looked through my Netflix queue, found a show I'd been meaning to watch, turned it on, and...
