I really love the rectangular TARDIS mugs, but I can't imagine it'd be very easy to drink out of them! Cylinders just seem more practical.... oh well...

KatMagenta 10-18-2011 07:32 PM

The TARDIS mug with a lid would be handy for keeping things hot in cold weather.

So I just caught up to A Good Man Goes to War.

Mind.
Officially blown.

Simple, just drink from a corner. I have square glasses here and that's what I do.

I would so love a TARDIS mug with a lid. I would drink coffee from it on the way to work and then use it to drink coffee at work too and it would be amazing. :| Suddenly my Rosetta Stone mug doesn't seem so cool anymore...

Hey guys. ^_^

I would SO love to have a tardis mug. *O* I would drink a hot chocolate out of it, though.

KatMagenta 10-19-2011 08:30 PM

I was thinking of this mug but a TARDIS travel mug would be even better. Someone invent one now!

xXMetalGirlXx 10-19-2011 08:35 PM

@Kat: That mug looks awesome sauce. *O*

LonelyOtaku97 10-20-2011 05:11 PM

Tardis travel mug I would so bring that to school with me :)

xXMetalGirlXx 10-20-2011 08:04 PM

If I have a tardis mug, I would bring it with me all the time, then I would be drinking more. X3

Dear ljos,
I must disagree. A Rosetta Stone mug is very cool.

I bought four mugs for under a dollar total at a thrift store today... sadly, none of them were TARDIS-shaped.

LonelyOtaku97 10-23-2011 03:42 AM

I wonder how much it is for a TARDIS mug

Cherry Who? 10-23-2011 03:46 AM

There's a link a few posts back. I think that one was from the UK, though, so shipping would be an arm and a leg. Here's one from an American site. Assuming you live in America, that is.

Also! I just found an interesting article. Link. It confirms that Matt Smith is signed on for Season 7, which is nothing new (the article is a few months old), but! There are rumors of our favorite Boe resident making an appearance. :eager:

Question: Do I HAVE to watch The God Complex to see Closing Time and the season finale?
From the looks of the previews, I don't think it's one I want to watch - Night Terrors was creepy enough for me.

Lost in Austen 10-23-2011 05:42 AM

My advice is you watch it. There are a few things that happen that you should know about before moving on in the series.

Cherry Who? 10-23-2011 05:45 AM

The God Complex really isn't as creepy as Night Terrors, it's just... suspenseful. If you want, we can tell/show you what the "big bad" of the episode is (without spoiling the episode) just so that bit of "eek, what is it" is gone.

Connielass 10-23-2011 06:03 AM

Gr.
Okay, I'll stick it out. I've only got the three episodes left to watch, and I'll be with my boyfriend - the only thing I worry about with him is whether I'll have to fight him to watch Who vs him wanting to watch hockey or football.

LonelyOtaku97 10-24-2011 02:29 AM

OO but Who is so important to watch

Lost in Austen 10-24-2011 02:41 AM

I agree, "The God Complex" wasn't actually all that creepy. But then, the only Doctor Who monsters that have ever scared me were the Silents. (And, the little "Are you my mummy?" kid, but I would feel bad if I referred to him as a "monster"!)

Can y'all see my signature picture? I don't see it, for some reason. When I go to the Edit Signature page, it appears. But not under my posts!

LonelyOtaku97 10-24-2011 02:43 AM

I can see your siggy pic. Scariest monster definitaly the one on that umm...trip you know where that women was copying everything he said.

Cherry Who? 10-24-2011 04:07 AM

Signatures don't show up in live post, Lost. So if you make a post, you won't immediately see your signature, you'll have to refresh the page. And yeah, it's showing up. :)

So the Weeping Angels didn't scare you?

For me, it'd depend on what your definition of "scared" is. Being anxious and jumpy while the show is on and the characters are in peril is one thing, but if you mean actively afraid of after the show is over, that's another. I'm tense during the show, and some "monsters" have scared me more than others, but none make me scared after the show is over. Unless you count the one time I had a Weeping Angel dream. :gonk: For in-show scares, the Weeping Angels, Silents and Cybermen scare me the most. The first are obvious, the latter because there's just no reasoning with them or distracting them. If a Cyberman gets you, you're done, game over. Even Daleks get distracted. I think they like the sound of their own voice.

All I ever remember from Midnight is sarcastic Merlin Jethro.

IN THE MIDDLE OF NOWHERE.

While I'm not particularly frightened of them I found the Smilers pretty creepy. I didn't really like their normal faces to be honest. :/
