I'm surprised it's so lifeless in here. Why just today on tumblr I saw things on a live chat with the cast, photos of what appeared to be a signing, and postings of mini-episodes.

I saw all five mini episodes. I also saw The Doctor donating his clothes for the Children in Need charity. I think the last thing I need to find is the preview for the upcoming Christmas special.
With no Torchwood, only one more episode until the 'mid season finale' of Supernatural, the Christmas special of Doctor Who is the next thing I have to look forward to. Surprisingly I don't have an 'anime crack' of the moment. I might dust off some old favourites, but nothing has really captivated me for some time now after watching Code Geass and Ouran High School Host Club. |
To be honest, I usually don't hear about something until one of you lovely people post it in this thread! haha. This hangout has become my primary source of Doctor Who news.
But I guess I'll be the one to post news this time, since nobody else has yet! P.S. I've always wondered: why does the Children in Need bear have a polka-dotted bandage on his eye? ALSO: There are five mini episodes??? 0_0 Someone direct me toward them at once! :rofl: |

I thought the mini episodes were extras on the series 6 DVD that some people have managed to get hold of early; I think I remember them being mentioned in the article about the DVDs.
The Children in Need auction for the Doctor's outfit ended at £50,000 so I really hope it's a genuine bid. Pudsey has always had an eye-patch. The official line is that it's a symbol for disadvantaged children. Teeny cuddly Pudsey sits on my desk. |

I never get to watch the Christmas specials.
Even if I do get to catch up on regular series on OnDemand. Which, I didn't. I caught up on all of series 5 and almost all of 6. Then all of 6 completely disappeared from OnDemand, leaving only four episodes from 5 behind. :cry: |
