I've been seeing gifs of Matt and Karen from this all day on Tumblr but I've only just seen the full advert.
Probably quite confusing for those who aren't familiar with British telly folk. |
Omg I haven't seen that play in so long! I'd almost forgotten that song.
Look, cybermen!
Cybermen can play non-branded game which is definitely not just Twister with squares instead of circles too.
I have returned :) better than ever. I can now watch Doctor Who online >.<
This is so cute! Doesn't Eleven wear skinny jeans, though?

We're talking about Doctor Who.
I was raised on "Mickey's Christmas Carol", the animated one that runs about a half an hour. To this day I can recite the thing verbatim when I watch it.
Do they show the Doctor Who Christmas Specials in America? I know they don't bother with the 'Children in Need' goodies =/ |

Christmas Who is actually starting to sound pretty good to me. I know they've started to play it more or less concurrently on BBC america, but how soon does it go up on On Demand? Speaking of BBC America, does anyone have new details on the Wait, Wait, Don't Tell Me special? I haven't heard anything since Phill Jupitus and Neil Gaiman were announced as part of the line-up. |
Yeah, I'm pretty sure they show the Christmas special on BBCA. I can't say for absolute sure, though, as I've only been back into Who for the last year, and I didn't have satellite during the last one. But I don't think I remember any Americans talking about not having access to it last year. I saw, uhm, the series 1 Christmas special back when that first aired, but I think that was when it was still on SciFi, not to mention it was 6ish years ago, so no help there.

It was put on On Demand last christmas, but I wasn't looking for it, so I don't know when it appeared.
Neil Gaiman is such a good writer I'm almost done with American Gods and its the best book I've ever read, and what is wait wait don't tell me?
I'm wondering if there's a british equivalent, but WWDTM is to my knowledge an NPR programme. One that was recently greenlit for television production. Though I was of the mind that that was indeed separate from this development.
Did anyone see Matt Smith presenting awards with Robert Downey Jr. at the Britannia awards?
Yeah, I'm making that joke before someone on tumblr does. What else is going on? |
I'm simply waiting on the edge of my seat for first of all the Christmas special. Come to think of it, I really am intersted to see how the Eleventh Doctor behaves without Amy and/or Rory around, even if not immediately with him, still on his mind (as in The Lodger).
I'm also on pins and needles concerning the fate of Torchwood. Starz left all the cliffhangers for a second series but decided not to pick it up. It has not been announced that it is coming 'home' to BBC3. It had amazing ratings and Captain Jack Harkness is still the most requedted character to return to Doctor Who. I personally think a really well done Torchwood movie/film would be sweet, but that would take ages and I'm not that patient. |
