Some of the clip was him talking about his life the concert and what not but I think he was told to say those other things because they needed something for Martha to fast forward and it needed to have plenty of mouth movements.

Well, I kind of vaguely noticed that he somewhat had hair in front of his ears, but I never looked at a picture of his profile, and when watching the show, I was always too focused on what was going on to think about how his hair looked.

Yeah... I admit that I never noticed them either until I was bored at school one day and started doodling a pic of a Dalek, then decided to draw Ten, and something was just missing, until it suddenly dawned on me that he has sideburns. XD
