:3 Well, if you can get on Hulu, you can see it anytime.
|
Is Hulu free? I always thought you had to pay for that.
|
I had a dream that Hulu suddenly had a "UK viewers" option so I could use it. It was a little triangle button on the player. Darn you reality. :illgetu:
Imagine everyone else has probably seen it already but I just saw the link to the series 7 trailer via Neil Gaiman's Tumblr. Much easier to see than the one recorded from the crowd. |
Wow, so cool! *o* The Doctor with a gun? Hehe.
|
ktbee - Some shows on hulu you have to pay to see, but the majority are free. If something is pay-only, it'll have a little "H+" symbol to the left of the title so you can just skim over it. :) Their selection of free movies is abysmal, but they get a lot of TV shows!

Oh Neil Gaiman, why are you so wonderful? *Makes a note to watch the trailer a few dozen times.* Yes, Hulu is probably one of the easier ways to watch Anime at this point, without the government screaming down my wifi that I'm a Pirate. *Shakes fish at Verizon* |
hello everyone :)
|
Hey, Maka-chan. How are you doing?
|
I am doing alright besides having lady cramps. :3
|
Cherry: I see. :) I will definitely have to check it out then.
Lynn: Crunchyroll is still around for anime, right? Hi Maka! I'm sorry to hear about your cramps.. Hope it goes away soon! |
@ ktbee: Long rant short, I think you now have to pay for Crunchyroll. Or, they aren't taking new accounts. That might have changed since I heard about it, though, so I should probably look into it.
@ Maka: D: I'm sorry to hear that. *Offers cookies and tea* |
@Lynn: Oh. I have an account from way back then, before any fees, though I haven't used it in a while. I don't even know if I remember the name and password, hah! I hope they're not trying to charge me now, hehe.
|
@ ktbee: Last I talked to my friend, they won't start charging you, but they will give you extras. Sort of a perk for having an account for so long, like since the beta.
I have no clue what any of the extras are, though. @[email protected] |
@Lynn: Came to find out I remember my name and password after all. Lucky! I have a normal membership apparently.. but there isn't even that option when I look at different memberships, haha. No idea what's going on there. Oh well.. I guess I can watch what I can watch.
|
@ ktbee: Well, at least you have it back, now. :3
Have fun watching~! |
Thanks :) Any new good ones out there, by the way? I'm not up to date on my anime.
|
Mmm, now I have to actually think of the names of them, rather than looking at the guide. >.<
"Chaos;HEAd", But it starts out insanely confusing. Verizon canceled the FUNimation channel just as it was getting good. If you can make it to the fourth episode, enough events should have happened that at least one of the plots becomes clear enough to follow. But the characters are interesting on their own. Don't worry if nothing makes sense, it's not you. "Dragonaut", you might like it, you might feel it's a bit too much like a Soap Opera. "Fairy Tail", apparently insanely popular and well know in Japan. It's cute, funny, and has a following you can bug for more info. ".hack//Quantum OVA", and all the ".hack//" animes in general. "Princess Jellyfish", but I'm a strange, strange, person, and I like animes involving characters who genderbend. Yeah, kinda tacky that all of them are from FUNimation, but the channel was there, and I like using my computer for other things than watching TV. -______- |
I've fallen out of the habit of watching/keeping track of anime (it just hasn't been worth it the past few years) But I agree that Princess Jellyfish/Kuragehime is a treat.
|
Yes, there are many that either just copy another show's plot, or they go south quickly. That, or, just not an appealing subject matter/presentation. @[email protected]
But when you find those gems . . . *Sighs* They are like good novels. |
A truly good anime or manga is endlessly endearing
|
In much the same way great literature endures throughout time.
>3 Or TV shows. *slight of hand, back on topic, get!* |
I just watched the trailer. That was... uhm, that was different. It seemed a little... un-Doctor Whoish? But that's just one episode. Even if I don't like the episode, I'm sure the rest of the season will be nice.
Also, Amy's blue and white striped sweater was fab. I wish I was Karen Gillan Lynn StarDragon - I watched the first few episodes of Awake last night! I'm not caught up just yet, but so far the show is very enjoyable, I'm curious to see how it continues. :) I find it really funny that the guy who plays Rex had a very similar role in another show. He was a character's son in an alternate reality type of thing (can't go more in depth than that without spoiling the other show/boring you). Who'd have thought you could be typecast as "alternate reality son"?! |
x'D Oh that is priceless!~ (About the actor in Awake.) And I was already giggling about Jason Isaacs playing the lead role, and convincing the world he's not british. Or magical.
Ah, you might actually be ahead of me. The family tends to watch Awake via On Demand, when we have the time to be gathered around the sacred glowing picture box. @[email protected] I knew I forgot to do something. *Looks at the trailer* . . . It's mocking me now. |
*checks wikipedia*
...WHOA. I had totally not noticed that dude is Lucious Malfoy! :o What the! I'm in shock! |
I Know, Right?!
And Tennant was a DeathEater. But he is still my Doctor. . . . Not sure what this says about me. @[email protected] |
