Annnd... now I want to find Sims 3 versions of them and throw them in the neighborhood I'm currently playing. Just for the lawls...
Be hardcore! Make your own! [lol]
I'm way too picky when I make my own... and by the time I'm done fighting with faces to make them look close enough to the actual people it's too late for me to want to actually play. xD
There was a Dancing With The Stars neighborhood I started last year... I made half the cast then just got so frustrated that I quit. Haha |
Yeah, usually I don't actually play the sims I create until the day after I've created them. [lol]
And I'm in the mood to play rather than create right now...
So I found a set of decent looking recent Doctors on Mod The Sims... and I think I'm off to test 'em out! xD |
Be sure to share tales of their adventures with us!

The 50 Years of Doctor Who thing was today, it was a screening of The Girl Who Waited and then a Q&A session with Tom MacRae (writer), Nick Hurran (director) and Travis Oliver (Milo from Gridlock).
It was interesting, Tom said that Russell T Davies was his mentor so his name came up a lot when he was talking about his work on the series. Nick Hurran is going to be directing the 50th Anniversary episode and he's a big fan of 3D so hopefully he'll get the most out of that format. Makes me wonder if they might show it in cinemas for those who don't have access to 3D televisions. |
What's the significance of the Fighting Temeraire, Kat? :O
Probably far less intellectual than you were expecting:
Skyfall - Quartermaster Clip (HD) - YouTube Waiting for my DVD to arrive still. |
Oh I haven't been there. Another trip or so and I'll get them all knocked off the list.
Hours later I remembered that the event also has to do with a ship.
I have only just clicked that you're talking about the painting. [headdesk]
Yeah.. I didn't know about the painting at all...
Oh, so that's what's going on. [ninja]
Suddenly, I feel less like headdesking. Thanks guys!

Sad news: actor Richard Briars has died. Although best known in my house for Good Neighbors/ The Good Life, Monarch of the Glen, and various Shakespearian roles, according to the BBC, he also appeared in episodes of Doctor Who and Torchwood. An inimitable talent, that man.
Who did he play in DW/Torchwood?
He played the antagonist in a 1987 story arc on Doctor Who. I don't recognize his character name from Torchwood off the top of my head. Here's his IMDB page.
Sad news indeed.
I believe he played the old man who collected alien artefacts that Owen was sent to break into the home of in Torchwood. |
Can a tumblr be owned by more than one person, kind of like how a livejournal community could be?
I would be highly amused by the antics of Doctor Who sims that were highly 'in character' (such as 10 being angsty and 11 being aloof and in character and... obsessed with chasing a cat... he was probably trying to interrogate it!) |
I see Tumblrs with different Admins/Mods posting so I presume so but I've never been a part of one myself.
I think you can, for secondary blogs, yeah.
For secondary blogs, you can attach multiple accounts to it. To primary blogs, obviously you could give the log in info to anyone you wanted to.

This was in today's Popbitch newsletter for anyone else who might be interested in the shopping habits of a Doctor. Edit: Gü puds are high end desserts and Rainforest Alliance is a sustainability/conservation brand. |
That's kind of interesting, but also incredibly creepy.
