Well that's a bit of a relief. I was a little upset to see that decision.

I just feel bad for Rory now (temper tantrum over). If he is being used as a 'smokescreen' I hope it doesn't have any adverse affect on his career because even if people haven't seen him he's really good at acting. :(

Speaking of tantrums, I might as well get it out of my system: You know I'm not a whovian, but I watch the show and occassionally read stuff posted online to keep up with you guys, so when I was waiting for the bus the other day, I saw that one of the few non-video posts on my Buzzfeed app was about celebrating Matt Smith after it was announced he was leaving. So I click on it, and it's a friendly "let's look back on and enjoy the 11th Doctor's tenure with this news that there's a new one coming", with gifs and traits of the 11th doctor etc. NBD. I go down to the comment section, and all but I think two comments were "I liked Tennent better", or even "Tennent was my Doctor, and Matt Smith's face is weird". Now, this is nothing new, as far as comments on posts about Matt Smith go (which is terrible in its own right), but this was actually about celebrating the man's tenure, and they couldn't keep it to themselves for once? Are they so threatened by things that aren't about their own tastes that they have to post inane comments? The internet, man.
