I haven't seen Classic Who either... I will get around to it eventually though.

I was lucky enough to be brought up where Classic Who was on the telly. The dynamic between Seven and Ace is one of my favourites.

I don't think there's any Doctor in particular I dislike (pushes Six to one side) because usually their different characters are handled well. It's usually the writing itself I have issues with.

Yeah, the writing is HORRIBLE now. I didn't bother finishing series 7

I liked 11, although I do agree that the writing was a bit wonky.

Ah, i meant to say this earlier but it's not the individual writers I have an issue with. More so it feels like they're being forced to fit a series long arc and some weird characterisation that's throttling their own ideas.

I'm in this limbo stage where I really love and really hate Doctor Who. Which is to say I love Doctor Who to death, but Moffat can jump in hole.

I hear Peter Capaldi has been making edits to scripts and such. He's loved Who all his life and has experience directing, so maybe he'll kick some of the more stupid ideas out of Moffat and give us a better experience until the ass finally leaves.
