What are you writing? A paper or your own personal project? :)

Bearzy 01-02-2016 06:10 AM

Personal project, the first draft of a novel. It's arguing with me because it wants me to start the second draft without finishing the first.

Clair Voyant 01-02-2016 06:12 AM

Oh, I hate that. My brain gets an idea and is like a child in a store.
"Mumma, can I buy that?"
"No, we're getting our grocery shopping done. Maybe we can go back later."
"But I WANT THAT RIGHT NOW! LETS GET IT NOW!"

Linnea 01-02-2016 06:15 AM

wow, that's a very convincing ten! O.O thanks, bearzy lol

and welcome back, clair! glad you're poking around again!

Bearzy 01-02-2016 06:15 AM

YES EXACTLY.
"But the story would you better if you changed that now."
"No. I have to start again to change that. And I need to write the whole thing first."
"BUT IT WOULD BE COOL."
"shut up and do what you're told, brain."

And you're very welcome Linnea [:)]

Clair Voyant 01-02-2016 06:17 AM

See, the scary part is... your brain usually wins. @[email protected]

Thanks, Linnea. I love menewsha. I have since I joined when I was a wee-one of fifteen... Almost ten years ago...yikes! D: Haha, I actually met my best friend on this site, and she is going to be one of my Bride's Maids. Hehe.

Bearzy 01-02-2016 06:24 AM

Not this time, Clair, not this time. I have determination.

Clair Voyant 01-02-2016 06:26 AM

*does dance/cheerleading routine* Go Bearzy! Go Bearzy! It's your birthday.
Gonna.....WRITE THAT NOVEL LIKE IT'S YOUR BIRTHDAY!

Yeah, I was never good at poetry.

Linnea 01-02-2016 06:27 AM

that's so cool, clair! and congrats on getting engaged and moving and all that jazz. sounds like you've done some adventuring!

Clair Voyant 01-02-2016 06:28 AM

Thank you so much! <3 I really have.

Bearzy 01-02-2016 06:29 AM

Wow yeah, congrats. Also, thanks for the cheering on. I need it sometimes.

Linnea 01-02-2016 06:32 AM

alright, i think i'm going to call it a night. 2:20 am is a good time for sleeping i reckon lol

well nighty night, you two!

Clair Voyant 01-02-2016 06:35 AM

Yeah, I was just about to say the same myself. Good night.
Great chatting with you both. <3

Good luck on your writing, Bearzy!

Bearzy 01-02-2016 06:35 AM

Oh wow, you two should have been asleep hours ago! It's only 8:20pm here! Goodnight folks!

Linnea 01-02-2016 09:00 AM

hmmm can't sleep much. tried and i'm far to twitchy and fidgety. maybe i could have the doctor bring me back to yesterday so i do something that'll make me tired... which probably means not sitting on my duff watching 'firefly' and other stuff on netflix -_-

Clara has like six jobs in the course of her run on the show, and she's trying to work out how she fits into the world. That's absolutely how I feel about life. Martha is more sure of what she needs to do, but it's always something for her family, or her job, or the Doctor. She doesn't work out her story until she walks the world. I love the idea that you don't have to have your stuff sorted, or your personality developed young. Stuff changes.

And yeah, Amy has a few jobs as well, but that's not being unsure of herself, that's being absolutely sure that where she is is too small for her.

I have a lot of feelings.

Very well put.

Bearzy 01-03-2016 02:11 AM

Thanks Kirin [:)]
And aww, Linny do you have f.lux or something on your computer so that the blue light doesn't mess with your melatonin levels?

Kirin Rosenbaum 01-03-2016 03:27 AM

I take a melatonin tablet before bed each night.

Bearzy 01-03-2016 03:30 AM

You can get those?? Do they work?

Clair Voyant 01-03-2016 03:33 AM

HULLO EVERYONE!

How are you doing? :)

Bearzy 01-03-2016 03:41 AM

Hey Clair! Looking good! I'm doing well. A little bored, but other than that just peachy. How has your day been?

Clair Voyant 01-03-2016 03:43 AM

My day was good. I made a hangout and then met a friend (who's hubby is also away) for lunch and then we went out for manicures/pedicures. She treated me to it. I'd never had my nails done before! :) How was your day?

Kirin Rosenbaum 01-03-2016 03:43 AM

I get them at the grocery store in the pharmacy area. They help me. Best is to take them an hour before bed.

Bearzy 01-03-2016 03:44 AM

I had work but now I'm at home, staring at my mess of a room and going "uuuuuugh do I really need to pack to shift house?"

Clair Voyant 01-03-2016 03:45 AM

Melatonin always knocks me on my butt. xD

Aw, what do you do for work?
