Rising_Violet 03-03-2010 04:59 AM

I don't remember either.. hm.. xD I don't remember the version I read all too well.. Hamlet dressed in goth clothes while he was mourning, and hmm.... -brainblank-

Scribbled Lore 03-03-2010 05:23 AM

The internet movie database is a website that is.. well, a movie database on the internet. It lists a movie with the characters and who played them along with a summary and other information like release date and production company. It's a terribly easy google search.

lonelyotaku 03-03-2010 03:02 PM

hm sounds cool i'll have to look into that.

Scribbled Lore 03-03-2010 06:01 PM

It is really cool. You can even look up television shows!

Rhumbullion 03-03-2010 06:03 PM

Hey all! What is the topic of conversation today?

lonelyotaku 03-03-2010 08:06 PM

sweet, and in this version he wasn't wearing goth cloths, it was like that really old attire were the girls dress up all dainty and what not.

Rising_Violet 03-04-2010 12:46 AM

oh~! Haha I might have read a different version entirely haha...

lonelyotaku 03-04-2010 01:38 AM

haha its ok but it still was a good story i absolutely loved it

EmptyMind 03-04-2010 01:41 AM

I can't wait for the first episode of the next season... I'm considering downloading a torrent so I can see the first season, because I started watching sometime mid second season.

I almost completely caught up on the other seasons important bits at least when I watched a marathon on new years. I was drinking vodka. I posted this in the thread at the time. <__<

I drank coffee a while ago, so I'm being hyperactive.

I just found out that the TARDIS stands for Time And Relative Dimension(s) In Space.

Which brings me to my main point... Does anyone else here ever feel like by watching Doctor Who, they figure out time? <_<;; I think by watching the show I'm slowly understanding more things about time/space...

Rising_Violet 03-04-2010 01:48 AM

"Wibbly wobbly timey wimey" stuff

lonelyotaku 03-04-2010 02:10 AM

hahaha more doctor who giberish I love his extensive speeches were he talks so fast you can't understand him.

ljosberinn 03-04-2010 03:16 AM

I definitely know more about the wibbly wobbly timey wimey stuff than I did before. :3
But yeah, I sort of know what you mean, EmptyMind. (And I think I might remember your vodka post. xD ) Doctor Who was originally supposed to be an educational show actually, especially the episodes where they went back in time. Supposed to teach the viewers a bit of history while entertaining them with a grumpy old man, his granddaughter and her two human teachers. P: I suppose it still is a bit, when they do go back in time. Even if it's not historically accurate (well, you never know, maybe there were rock/fire giant aliens inside Mt. Vesuvius...), you still get some idea of what happened.

Rising_Violet 03-04-2010 03:20 AM

xD well that's for the 9th and 10th doctor anyway. In the much older versions of doctor who they didn't focus on earth so much

ljosberinn 03-04-2010 03:32 AM

Well, originally it was meant to be educational. I haven't seen too much of the classic series, but out of the first two seasons, nearly half of the episodes happen in Earth's past, and most of them are focused around historical happenings or at least notable eras in history. I don't know about the later seasons though, up until the new series anyway.

lonelyotaku 03-04-2010 03:44 AM

hmm i can't remember oh wait there was that episode with the ship that was gonna crash into the sun, that was really far away from earth, and i'm a big history fanatic i would love to back in time with the doctor.

ljosberinn 03-04-2010 03:46 AM

Uhh.. A lot of episodes happen far away from Earth.. what's your point? O.o

lonelyotaku 03-04-2010 03:50 AM

arg ok ok i'm a disgrace for a doctor who fan i admit it

Fantastic!

Hi hi! Sorry to just pop into your convos, but you are talking about my favorite man, the Doctor!

I need to go back and watch it from the beginning. I've only seen from Baker on.

Rising_Violet 03-04-2010 05:31 AM

Yay Baker!! Him and his ridiculously long scarf! ...I have a biased for Baker, the person that introduced me to Doctor Who in general is a huge fan of the Fourth Doctor... Actually I hadn't realized until a year ago that they had brand new episodes.. and I was completely oblivious to much other than Tom Baker. XD I was so surprised and confused to see the doctor without his trusty scarf.

KatMagenta 03-04-2010 08:33 PM

All I know about time is that it stretches the most while I'm stuck at a bus stop trying to get to or from university. ¬_¬

Who stuff!
There's lots of new filming pics about but here's a link to Blogtor Who because their post features Karen Gillan looking unfeasibly good (Holy Moly! have some too).

x-cutie-x-pie-x 03-06-2010 12:48 AM

o: Karen Gillan is really pretty ^____^ ♥ She could go into Modelling <:
Let see how she is as an actress first though :3

Is that Matt in shorts? O________O"

Scribbled Lore 03-06-2010 12:55 AM
