TaiyoTsuki 04-21-2010 11:28 PM

Hello all.

Gawd, I'm cold!

Lost in Austen 04-22-2010 12:53 AM

Wayte! So.... I heard that the "Crayola Daleks" as I so fondly named them, were actually the old-school Daleks. haha. Do y'all know this to be true?

KatMagenta 04-22-2010 02:38 PM

I don't know if it's just the design but they do come across looking pretty old-school. I'm no expert. ^^;

Doctor Who Adventures this month has colour coded Dalek coloured pencils as one of their free gifts. Somewhat close to crayons. XD

ljosberinn 04-22-2010 02:54 PM

Aww I liked Idiot's Lantern. I didn't care much for Fear Her, or the episodes with the Slitheen. >.o I haven't watched enough of the old series to have favourites or uh, whatever-the-opposite-of-favourite-is for them.
Sarah Jane in School Reunion was cool, but as I didn't know her from the old series, it didn't really affect me much.

Doctor Who: The Adventure Games news:
Quote:

'City of the Daleks' will be the first time the Doctor ventures to Kaalann, the Dalek capital city; available to download on 5th June 2010.
I guess one of the reasons they couldn't announce it earlier is because it features the new designs for the Daleks. I didn't notice they had a real eye in their eye stalks until Doctor Who Adventures pointed it out. O_o

I wasn't that big a fan of Fear Her either. The scribble monster made me laugh.

lonelyotaku 04-22-2010 04:22 PM

my boyfriend loved the scribble monster

TaiyoTsuki 04-22-2010 09:43 PM

I think I've seen that episode. That scribble monster looked funny

lonelyotaku 04-22-2010 10:41 PM

i was gonna watch fear her but youtube was acting up

TaiyoTsuki 04-22-2010 10:55 PM

I've been searching up AMV's the whole time

Lost in Austen 04-23-2010 12:30 AM

So, when does the next episode air?

TaiyoTsuki 04-23-2010 12:33 AM

*shrugs* No idea.

KatMagenta 04-23-2010 09:24 AM

BBC America has a Doctor Who website too. I'm stealing your wallpaper, mwah ha ha. They link to this schedule.

I don't have a sofa to hide behind for The Time of Angels... I'll have to take one of the pillows off my bed. >.<

Connielass 04-23-2010 01:25 PM

Okay, so I was over my boyfriend's when I happened across the BBC.
I caught the tail end of (what I'm assuming is a re-showing of) Eleventh Hour.
Still not sure about the new redhead, but I think I like Smith.
Now if I'd only seen it from the beginning....

lonelyotaku 04-23-2010 03:48 PM

you can connielass if you have ondemand or if u want to start with the ninth doctor i'd suggest youtube.

TaiyoTsuki 04-23-2010 07:16 PM

I need to get more Torchwood.

KatMagenta 04-23-2010 07:24 PM

You do. Even if you did have all of Torchwood you would need more Torchwood.

TaiyoTsuki 04-23-2010 07:39 PM

I don't have any Torchwood....I've gotta check it all out from the library to watch it..

Sixkiller 04-24-2010 03:35 AM

Rumor has it that Captain Jack and Torchwood are coming to America. I was never a huge fan of Torchwood but I respect it like any other part of the DW franchise.

@ Lostin: Time of Angels is this Saturday in the UK and in the US Beast Below is...also this Saturday. We're back on a weekly schedule now.

That's the thing. My mom downgraded our cable, and we already had the basic, basic package.
No OnDemand at my house.
Thus having to go to my boyfriend's house to see anything decent.

As for Nine: Don't like Eccleston as the Doctor. Like him as Raymond Collitri.
Not as the Doctor.
Ten is my Doctor. And I will never get over Tennant.
But I'm open to giving Smith a shot.

I just wish I'd seen Eleventh Hour from the start. I turned it on in the last ten minutes or so, when he was grabbing all that clothing?
New entry in my Top Ten Favorite Lines from Who: "Basically: Run."

@Taiyo: At least your library's GOT vids of BBC shows. Mine doesn't even have that.

People said that about Tom Baker. Doctors come and go and yeah its sad that Tennant is gone but he can't come back. It's best to just nod and roll with it.

Personally I'm enjoying Matt Smith's performance as the Doctor quite a bit. Almost enough to join in the fan outcry of "David who?"

KatMagenta 04-24-2010 01:10 PM

I read FOX have pulled out of the Torchwood US project but the BBC are still looking for someone to pay for half of it co-produce it.

Since I'm not particularly good with words I'll just say: what Six said + I love Matt Smith.

TaiyoTsuki 04-24-2010 06:42 PM

Hiyas! I'm back

KatMagenta 04-24-2010 07:32 PM

Hallo Taiyo.

I'm waiting for either The Time of Angels to go up on iPlayer in HD or my friend to log off msn before I watch it. ^^;

x-cutie-x-pie-x 04-24-2010 08:29 PM

I convinced my friend to watch the new series. :>
Before, she was like. Nope. Not gonna watch it. I hate Matt Smith. New series is gonna be Sh!t.

Earlier, we were talking on msn.
