Basically, I am confused about everything in the last 5 minutes of the episode.
First, I dont understand what the Doctor was rambling on about. "Its all about you" and such. Does the Crack revolve around Amy the way Bad Wolf revolves around Rose? And I have to say, I'm a bit annoyed with Amy Pond right now. First the part when he was changing... And now this? We need a good ole "Youre not matin' with me, Sunshine!!" companion, methinks. :XD Btw, I read something interesting on a forum.. Quote:

Boyfriend will earn double brownie points if he lets me watch. Triple if he then lets me watch back episodes of NCIS. :eager: |
I'd say the coat was just a production error. The context of the speech he gave wouldn't make any sense for him to travel all the way from where he was just say that then to disappear. I did like that speech though. "You have got to start trusting me, Amy." "But you don't always tell me everything." "That's why you have to trust me."
I think a better point to discuss is, who did River Song kill? I think we're meant to believe it's the Doctor but is it? Also the cracks are caused by to parts of space and time coming together that should have never touched. What's causing them? Lastly, what did the Doctor say to Amy when she was 7 that she has to remember? Was it something in the 11th Hour or something we haven't seen yet? (I'm referring to the scene of Amy sitting on her case in the daylight and hearing the Tardis. Was it a dream or did the Doctor come back for her?) Any which way I'm am psyched for the rest of the series, especially next week. |

My, most likely completely ridiculous, thought(s)To be honest I struggled to understand some the dialogue because the BBC still hasn't got any subtitles up and it's hard to ask all of the other students to cut out the background noise/music while I'm watching Doctor Who. :/ |
were do you watch doctor who at?

I find mine whilst sailing the high seas, YAR!

Hi everyone!
|
Woo, another benefit to being British other than being able to get a decent cup of tea.
|
I don't know i'm american not british would you like a spot of tea?
|
Heh, I was just trying to say I don't download the episodes because I don't have to.
My friend and his dad lived in America for a while and found buying tea and a cordless kettle difficult but that was a number of years ago now. ^^; |
a cordless kettle? thats new to me what does it look like?
|

Cordless kettles... I believe they're a bit like a crock pot -- no need for a stove. Am I right, Kat? I have never encountered one, either. I'm sure we have them in the States, but being that coffee is far more popular than tea here, the stores are probably just much more stocked with coffee makers. x3 What do you think will happen on 6/26/10? Maybe thats the series finale... Something epic will happen, I know it!!! |
In 11th hour he mentioned the pond that had no ducks in it. "How do you know it's be a duck pond, if there aren't any ducks?" Then in Flesh and Stone he was listing off the abnormalities. "Of course, how can no one remember a fifty foot Cyberking over London. Duck pond with no ducks, it all makes sense now!"
|
Yeah... but I still don't understand how that relates to the fact that nobody remembered the Cyberking.... Am I just really slow today? :XD

Have a picture that can do a better job at explaining than my following words:
http://www.lifemorecomfortable.co.uk...ent-kettle.jpg The kettle sits on a little stand which is plugged into the power socket so when the kettle has finished boiling you can just lift it off and pour it. Ta-da. Their purpose is to boil water rather than specifically make any kind of drink but most people use them for tea and coffee. Since I've said nothing Who related have Matt and Karen talking about the end scene of episode 5 (and Moffat reading my mind about Amy's personality). |
oh ok thats kinda cool now that i think of it and does anyone wonder why amy doesn't remember when the daleks made the earth vanish?
|
On an unrelated note. The big Doctor Who convention in the states GallifreyOne invited Peter Davison (the 5th Doctor) to appear at the con. He unfortunately couldn't make it and sent this video instead. I think everyone will like this. Especially the ending.

I've seen it Rhum, but it's hilarious. The editing is amazing- Nine's facial expressions are just perfect.

I like the Vogue at the end. That was too funny.
---------- Honestly, I was a little sad that Christopher Eccleson (Ecclston?) didn't get a second season. I thought he made a GREAT doctor. Still, Tennat was ultimate win. Perfect for the role and this new fellow I am actually quite keen on. I love his eyes and the way he trails off and how active he is about the set jumping over stuff and just generally being a little monkey. I do wonder if he is gay, though. (not that I have a problem with it, I just find myself wondering about it when I see him in the mini interviews on BBCA) |
