Thats how we got taught when we were kids - If you swear/talk back you get chilli or soap in your mouth. Soon taught us not to disrespect adults.

Kids really do say the darndest things. Sometimes, there is nothing a parent can do - just try to point out to them what they said that was wrong and hope it sticks! I think it's important to not blow it off but also remember so many different kids blurt out what they are thinking. By a certain age, kids usually learn from their parents' mortified reaction to what they said not to blurt out what's on their mind. I've seen so many kids say embarrassing stuff!

Once, my elder son was about 3, he was sitting next to my dad and was looking at his neck and noticing all the wrinkles in the back of it he said, "Grandpa, you're old!"

Another time, a neighbor that was suffering from acne came over and my son asked, "What's all those dots all over your face?"

Sounds funny, i seem to blunt out things too... its embarassing sometimes (usually when im tipsy though lols)

LOL yeah, my daughters have come out with some embarrassing things. lol

I still think my current one (one of the old ones) is my favorite, although there's a new hairstyle that's a REALLY close second. xDD;; I'm sticking to this one for now, first, since it suits my general avatar more with this outfit on. :3
