Also, Cricket, I'm glad you mentioned that because I'd been meaning to ask you about it but was trying to figure out a way to do it subtly, since it was such a personal question. To me it sounds like you might be pansexual? I thought I was straight for years until I fell in love with my best friend, and then for a long time I was saying "Well, I'm sexually attracted to men but emotionally attracted to women" (which, since you're a guy, sounds like the same situation but flipped because I'm a girl) and then as time went on and I began to see women who I was sexually attracted to and men who I was emotionally attracted to, I began to realize that it was just that my tastes in women were not very common (same goes for my tastes in men but I have found an obscure fandom where the type of guy I like flourishes so I didn't really think anything of it). In the end I've realized that if I saw someone on the street and thought they were hot, I wouldn't need to know their gender. That's pansexual. My bisexual friend says that the difference is that she likes men and women in different ways, and wants different things in their appearances and personalities and would want a different relationship depending on their gender, whereas I don't care what happens to be in your pants. You know? I also identify as bigender, but that's something I don't like to tell people because I feel like they get the wrong idea from it. :/ Although it's the same with pansexual, I feel like people think it means "I love everyone!! [insert flowers and hearts]" but it really means I'm capable of loving anyone regardless of gender. |

Cricket: For the icy avatar, your head looks/looked a little bare. Maybe you could have a Frosty Crown or Tiara on there, or one of the Tiaras like mine, but with light blue jewels.

Cricket, I know what you mean. That's why I call myself gay or bisexual unless I really have a chance to explain it.
The upside to my bigender is that in men I still prefer feminine qualities (though as men) so it's not like I want a complete physical redo whenever I change from feeling one way to feeling the other. The downside is...I'm a 34D. AGH! My bird won't stop shrieking! I'm trying to watch a TV show, but he absolutely won't be quiet. |
