*enters, plops down, and sighs* Hello everyone. I hope this post finds you all well. I couldn't help but notice that there was a tiny bit of a spat here last night, so I'd just like to interject:
Chach, Cricket doesn't seem to like you, so please don't press his buttons. I would like peace to be kept here because I hate to see fighting. Cricket, well... I am not saying that you were, but I'd just like to ask you not to be a hypocricket (hypocrite). :sweat: You do correct people about their writing all the time, but when Chach did it to you, you claimed he was "bitching". I'm just not sure that's being fair, bad week or not. Still though, Chach took it a little far. And, to be clear, I'm not taking sides. This all got blown way out of proportion to begin with, so I'll let it drop now. Just putting in my two cents. Uh... so how 'bout that movie, Uzura? :sweat: |

It's about an imaginary friend who has no one to belong to. She decides to befriend a college student since they look so stressed and unhappy. However, no one can see her. When she finally finds someone who can see her, that person doesn't want her around, but she sticks with the student anyways and is pretty much just an annoyance. Eventually the student is able to lighten up and have fun, and when that happens, the imaginary friend goes away. |
Hm... Sounds interesting... I've always wanted to make a short movie but I'm lazy and do not own a anything that can video tape stuffs. ^^;

@Dae: I was making a reference to Gaia, actually. ^^ And not as an e-mail, no; it would have been like that little yellow triangle next to your name at the top of the page that appears whenever you have a new PM or a new Profile comment or whatever. I expect one of those whenever something new happens that I know about. :sweat: But Menewsha doesn't let you be lazy! *o*

Saelia: Haha, true but I think I get sporadic e-mails from Menewsha... I usually keep myself updating by quick glancing at the front page... Of course, sometimes it's annoying because they will do two announcements close to each other in a row and I'll miss one. -.-; |
@Chach: Yup, lol. But it doesn't, so you have to hunt and poke around yourself.
You should have seen me and... Sushi, I think it was, when the 2009 New Year's glasses item came out and other people were wearing it. I was all, "Where did you get those glasses???" and Sushi couldn't figure it out, either... I was hunting all over the Winter Festival event page trying to find them... And then Cricket just goes, "Check the announcements, guys." An announcement was right there, with a link to free glasses. Sushi and I felt like idiots. xD Edit @ Dae: Lol, actually, I bypass the front page pretty much every day I come here, because I've saved the Assassination Thread as a favorite and so I just come straight here! |
Saelia: Oh, I always type in the address for Menewsha manually and that takes me to the front page. So then, I just quick look down at the announcements.

I had an extra pair but I gave them away to another friend of mine who had missed out as well. Personally, I don't think I'll ever make an outfit with them... But you never know.

It's not a big deal now. I mean, I would have never worn them. It would have just sat in my inventory, really.

I agree, Uzura (and Dae). Some REALLY cool and colorful outfits have been made with the glasses, but I personally would never use them either, lol. Just got them to say I did. :lol:

Clock did a really good avatar with them. But I, personally, don't care to have so many items on my avatars to the point that it just looks like a mush of color.
