Yeah, so Michael and I are going to enjoy some together time. We're going to the library and for walks and we're going to watch a movie together. ^-^ And lots of other stuff that we haven't put into plans yet. But it will be lovely wonderful!

Right, the convention. What kind of convention is it again? I thought I heard you say something about anime, but I might have been mixing it up with conventions other people were talking about.
And so, I am alone again. I hope people get online soon. I actually have time to partake in the conversation tonight! Lastly: I am utterly exhausted. I'm going to try and take a nap. Might be back on late tonight, but knowing my ability to wake from those, especially this late at night, chances are better that I will just sleep through the rest of the night. I honestly don't know when I will be on tomorrow. Because I know I will be opting to spend time with my husband tomorrow and the next day, rather than scrambling to make post counts with whatever few people are on, I will be turning in my resignation. It's only a matter of time before I officially suicide out of the game due to not being able to make post count anyways. I really don't think I'll be joining any further games, because I just don't think I can make the counts. I didn't think I could make them this time, but I wanted to give it one last shot, to be certain. And now I am certain. I think I will make a better spectator than a player. So I will talk in here as a non participant. I think without the stress of making count, I'll be able to enjoy the conversation a lot more and not have to worry when people aren't on. And perhaps having more non participants will encourage more conversation. So good luck to the remaining players, and may the best (or most active) assassin win! |
I crashed and burned last night, slept in because the kids were not up before the sun for a change! Brewing some coffee to make an iced mocha, then I have to start getting ready.

Where has everyone gone? It's been so quiet since yesterday, which is unusual. Usually people are here in the late hours. Wish I could stay and chat with whoever does manage to get in, but I have to clean. We had people over for a Heroes game last night and while the GM did help clean some stuff, the living room is still a bit messy. And the other rooms could use cleaning. So good luck to everyone.

Hey everyone! I'm back from one of the best weekends ever! Kierys: I've been gone for the last two days because I've been hanging out at my church, on a sleepover community service hour-earning event, and I know that Cricket is away at NakaKon (sp?) so that's why he's not around. He did give me an assignment while I was gone, though, so I'm going to see if I can do that now. But I'll be around. ^^

Hi! I'm back from MomoCon!! Met CK, Omi and Tentenpuff!! Lily was able to find a dealer who had a Shaman plushie, so she had her Pokemon fix. Got a bit lost leaving Atlanta since we don't go there frequently. Really liked what I saw of the GA Tech campus. Also saw some interesting costumes. All in all, it was a good trip!

How was the service project at your church?

Well, the event is called the "30 Hour Famine," because we didn't eat for thirty hours. I know that sounds crazy, but the purpose is to experience what poor & starving people all over the world are feeling every day. We also raised money to help them through World Vision, we didn't just starve ourselves, lol. I invited Drew to come with me, and he did, and we had so much fun! The activities and stuff made up for the whole not eating thing, lol. But Drew and I are even closer to each other than we were before, and it's amazing. :heart: He thought it was all really fun, too, and he's not even Christian. But he got all the service hours he needed! He said it was a really good idea, so I'm very, very glad I invited him. ^^

@ Elmira: Yes, he's the one. ^^ Funny story for how long we've known each other. He was in my English class at school last year, but we never actually talked to each other very much. Then he transferred to a different school, got a facebook, asked me to be his friend on Christmas day, and we started talking to each other over winter break. The rest, as they say, is history. I consider us really getting to know each other starting in late December / early January, so it's been somewhere around 3 months now. It doesn't sound like very long... But I'm pretty convinced that we're just that perfect of a match for each other. We feel like we've known each other for ages. ^^

Nooo, but, my own mom was actually really happy for me when I told her about Drew and I kissing. Of course, I ended up waiting until I was 18 years for it to happen, so she was probably thinking that it was about time. xD But she has given her fair share of "death glares" to my boyfriends in the past, haha. |
Well, Lily's dad is dead, so it's me and the Mark-person left to break out the chainsaws. What's funny is that boys pay attention to her, and she just doesn't even see it. She thinks boys are weird, gross and full of boogers. For now, that's fine. It helps that friends of mine keep popping up pregnant from time-to-time, so she's even more terrified of touching boys. I feel kind of evil, but my parents did even worse stuff to me to prevent me from going near boys. Yes. I should have joined a convent.
