Greetings from Menewsha's new owner
Hey guys!
Most of you guys have probably seen me floating around in the recent users list, so I thought it only fitting to properly introduce myself. I'm Insomniac, a single white guy in my twenties currently residing in Chicago, Illinois. I moved to the states two and a half years ago from my place of birth, Australia! http://www.camelotbears.com/images/koala_about_us.jpg <----- Actual photo of Insomniac I have two brothers, no sisters, four cats and one dog back in Australia and three cats in Chicago. I spend most of my spare time when it's not freezing cold outside racing motorcycles around a tracks. I manage a team of coders that develop various applications for platforms like Facebook. So hopefully my skills as a coder can benefit the site and compliment the awesome art done by the rest of the staff. This site has some great potential, and it would be my pleasure to be a part of making it the coolest site on the net. Currently I'm working on making the avatar system better, I'd really love to see a proper preview system, and there are some other really cool changes that you'll just have to wait and see. |

Hello and welcome. You can call me either Luel or Yumi, and I'll be 21 very soon. It seems we're not that far apart in real life, but you'll be seeing me around here a lot, since it's pretty established that I'm a net addict with no life. :P

Welcome to the site. There is a lot that has to be done still, so I applaud you for rising to the challenge. We need an owner who will truly care about our site, and has the time to devote to what we need. I haven't followed your posts much in the forums like others might have, but I have heard a great deal about you from the staff, and they have nothing but good things to say about you. And I hope you won't mind me butting my head in a few times causing controversy. I have that habit sometimes as I can be very.. disagreeable with certain sitewide decisions as you may have discovered for yourself when you first took over. So anyways, good luck, and we'll see you around : ) |

I also must say, I hope you like Chicago being born and raised there myself. Yes the winters there are brutal !! stock up on long john's !! I really like Menewsha, I especially love the clothes designs, the people here are very talented. I' also grateful we have an enthusiastic new owner. I come here in between cooking, cleaning and watching the grand kids. it's my solitude. |

I've never met a motorcycle-riding koala before!! It's great to know that you do not belong to a large corporation, although I was already pretty sure that Mene wasn't sold to some big corporation.
