some people is used to COlour Graphic, some is Computer Graphic, and since I am touching a bit 3D programmes, they keep saying Computer Generated to me~ |

Can we enter the same pictures in traditional and the CG category? Like, enter it in traditional, then CG it and enter it there? Or is that not allowed? Because I'd like to CG the 2 I did...I just don't know if I'll have time and such~ :3 |

Oh! I have a question~ :3 It's kinda similar to Lumi's. =O
You see, I'm going to be doing an inked piece for this. But, I plan on adding a texture to the final piece through Photoshop. Does that count as traditional or CG? The whole thing will be inked traditionally save for the texture~ Thanks in advance. :3 <3 |
I would say it depends on the person, Ryl.
If you did the artwork mostly manually with paper, pencil and/or pen, but do some minor touch ups like cleaning, colouring the lines or a simple background, I would still classify it as traditional. However, if it's done mostly with computer programmes, say, although you lineart or sketch was drawn traditionally and scanned in, but it's fully coloured digitally, I would classify it as digital. Depending on how much time and effort you spend on either, and the margin of how much the traditional base is showing up against the digital touch ups. But really, it's up to the person itself to be wise and judge whether it's would be classified as a traditional piece or digital. |

Well, in my case, I'm going to do everything mostly traditionally. =O The entire thing will be inked traditionally. The only things I will be doing on the computer will be some small cleaning (like dots that get scanned in or something >.>) and the texture. I just wanted to check for this contest, since past contests I've joined before have different opinions on this topic. ^^ |

Well, I guess it'll depend on how much you colored it. =O Even just flat colors I think are considered CG. ^^;

I know you wanna keep the entries themselves a secret, but I was wondering if you could possibly tell us which of the staff members have been drawn already. =) I want to enter, but I also wanna make sure that as much staff members as possible are able to get art of themselves, after all. ^^ Thankies in advance~ :3 |
