Sera 12-01-2008 09:51 PM

Eroy, that's a great reason not to spend so much!

Swanniee, I think it's because the price of oil dropped.

XxXshizuki-chanXxX 12-01-2008 09:54 PM

thats okkies swany ^.^ i just like being here

d2hiriyuu 12-01-2008 09:55 PM

gas prices though can fall due more to not spending money than anything, US is getting tighter on money, and when a gallon of gas costs as much as a meal, meal wins (or small luxeries), also winter people go out less too.

That's definitely true. And I'm sure it has to do with more than just one factor as well.

random sorta but...

how come gas prices are so low now? o_o
is it just b/c we're pulling out of the war?

I'm pretty sure it's because demand dropped enough when prices were ridiculous that it significantly dropped the price of oil. I know my boyfriend and I decreased our demand by moving a lot closer to work.. So I guess if enough people do something to cut their demand it can have a huge impact.

I doubt they'll stay this low for very long though.

swanniee 12-01-2008 09:57 PM

Money talks. If people have to pay more, they won't buy it or they will find other ways around it.

Still, there was a large problem in Atlanta after the hurricanes and EVERYONE wanted gas...

Yep. I'm here for college but I'm from Louisiana, a lovely stop for the hurricanes.
They aren't that big of a deal, as long as you are prepared and don't live under sea level. I have sat outside countless times during a few that were Cat. 3's.

Never have I been in an earthquake but I flew into Toyko the day after a major one. Tornado's...closest I was to one was half a mile?

XxXshizuki-chanXxX 12-01-2008 10:10 PM
