Jacob kissed Ashley back and smiled a bit shifting to sit comfortably on the futon beneath the smaller man. He figured Ashley knew already that he'd returned by the statement and he shrugged a bit not certain exactly what to say to him. "Yeah.." Jacob replied in a quiet voice rubbing Ashley's back. "I'd have rather spent the time with you though." He leaned in to kiss Ashley's lips gently. "How had your night been?"

"I'd have rather spent it with you too." He smild at him gently, kissing him back again. "I worked late, as usual." He stated softly giving Jacob another soft kiss, then a couple of kisses along his jaw and down his neck. He didn't want to lie, so he didn't bother to say what he did after he worked late, however working late could also entail that he worked all night, and Jacob already knew now that it wasn't uncommon for him to sleep in his office.

Jacob closed his eyes a small smile on his lips as he leaned his head to the side to allow Ashley access to his neck. That was something though about last night, he hadn't enjoyed any of it as much as he was used to. Not since before Ashley. Then it had actually felt like work rather than the good time. He couldn't think of a night that he hadn't actually sleeping with anyone.
He looked down at Ashley, pleased that he was with him this evening. He leaned down and kissed his lips again more possessively, this was the man he enjoyed in his bed now. He was going to work hard at keeping it that way as well and hoped everything could work out. |
Ashley gasped softly into the kiss, enjoying the sudden change in his behavior. He enjoyed feeling like he was Jacob's and Jacob's alone. "Mmh.." He returned the kiss somewhat needily, eager for his lover's touch to wash away the reminants of what he remembered from the night before with Andrew. To remind him of what it felt like to truly be loved. His hands tangled into his lover's hair gently as he pressed himself slightly closer to Jacob's body, careful about both of them, midning his broken leg a little mre than usual since it ached.

Jacob grinned into the kiss sensing that the other man had missed his touch. Licking his tongue over Ashley's lips he was going to grant the man what he'd missed so much. His hand that wasn't supporting Ashley's back slid up a leg and ran up Ashley's stomach and chest pulling buttons loose so he could get to Ashley's skin as he kissed the other man lovingly and possessively. "Mm.."

Ashley arched his chest into the touch as his shirt was worked open and fingers skimmed over sensitive flesh, kissing him back deeply with soft noises every so often. Suddenly, Ashley gasped out and jumped, muffling a noise partially against his lover's lips as he tried to break the kiss and clasped a hand against the phone in his pocket as it vibrated in against his thigh. He didn't want to answer it but he sure didn't want it to keep doing that! His cheeks were a bright red as he attempted to fish it out of his pocket without getting up. "Mmf..."

Jacob was started when he'd felt the smaller man jump a bit in his lap, scared he might have hurt him somehow. He broke the kiss and looked down at the man at first concerned before he realized the problem. He began to chuckle as the other man squirmed in his lap brushing against something not quite soft as he fished for a vibrating cell phone. A wicked grin was spreading on his face though as he tried to keep the laugh at a chuckle. He leaned in brushing his lips over Ashley's neck, nipping down on flesh previously nipped by another unbeknown to him.

Ashley had felt what he'd brushed against and it only made him blush even more. He finally got the phone out of his pocket and glanced briefly at the ID as he felt Jacob nip at his previously used skin, swallowing slowly. It was from Andrew's office, though it didn't neccessarily mean it was him, he was busy--he didn't want to be bothered by work or anyone else for that matter. He ignored the call and let the phone drop to the floor lightly, turning his head to give his lover another kiss, biting softly at his lower lip with a faint tug. "Mm.."

Jacob sat up slowly, wincing as abused muscles twitched in pain after lying there. The fall on the floor really wasn't the best thing to happen it seemed. He watched Ashley on the phone reaching out idly to be sure the other man didn't fall when he stood up on casted leg and all. When Ashley hung up apparently because no one was answering he nodded some, he didn't want to get Ashley in trouble even if the ones who had been calling didn't know what the man was up to while they were phoning.
"Are you wanting me to head home?" Jacob asked unsure of what to do now. They'd gotten away with him being there one night, even with someone walking in on them at least they wouldn't speak of it. Standing up a little stiffly he winced as his bruised leg protested against the weight. "Seems you're not the only one of us crippled.." Jacob teased with a small smile. He hoped his leg hadn't broke, though it hadn't bothered him when he'd wrapped it around Ashley. |
"It'll probably be easier if you went home... I don't want to risk anyone being in the building still." He frowned s he looked at Jacob while th eman stood up. "Are you sure you're okay? Maybe... you should take one of my crutches. I'm doing fine with just one of them." He smiled at Jacob apologetically for his cast hitting him, even if Jacob insisted it wasn't his fault.
He moved to get the crutches and hand one off to Jacob, quite serious about his offer. He didn't want his companion hurting himself further. "If... it really hurts bad, Jacob, maybe you should get it looked at?" |
Jacob nodded slowly, licking his lips. He didn't truly want to leave Ashley but he wasn't going argue. He smiled at bit at Ashley's concern trying assure him he was alright. Just sore from the cast that seemed to hit straight against his bone. "It's just bruised is all.. you keep the crutch love."
Jacob didn't make a motion of taking the offered crutch shaking his head a bit. "I'll be fine.." |
Ashley pouted and if he'd had more energy left in him, he might have argued that he needed to take the crutch anyway, but he just didn't have it in him. He set the crutch aside and held onto the one he was already leaning on, holding the blanket close still. He needed to wash before he left, uncomfortable and sticky and sweaty. "Could... you help me wash? I can't get my cast wet. I just.. need my back washed, I can do the rest." He was embarrassed, recalling that Andrew had been the last to help him clean up, he wanted to do most of it himself this time, it would feel strange if he let his lover clean him in the same manner.

"Of course," Jacob said smiling at the other man glad the man hadn't pushed the point. He headed towards the one door in the small apartment that didn't look like the door heading outside, limping as he did so along side Ashley. It was a good sign that he didn't fall after taking the first step on the sore leg, knowing it was just merely bruised instead of broken.
"I'd be happy to wash more than that," Jacob continued looking over at the smaller man, not aware of the thoughts that were going on in the man's mind. |
Ashley blushed and shook his head. "No.. No, just the back. Maybe... when I'm healed you can, but I like proving to myself I have enough independence to at least wash most of my body on my own, you know?" That was somewhat true.
He got into the bathroom and sat himself down carefully, turning the water on in the tub since he was sitting on the edge of it, the blanket on the floor. He let it fill a little so they had nice hot water to wash with and a bar of soap. |
Jacob frowned a smidge but he nodded in understanding, he'd been warming up to the idea to get to take care of his lover. He respected the fact the man was independent and he wasn't going to try step on the man's toes and tell him he couldn't do it. He leaned in to briefly kiss those lips lovingly.
"Let me know when you need to me to wash your back then," Jacob murmured stepping away moving to the sink to wash himself off. |
Furrowing his brow, he knew Jacob had wanted to wash him, he could tell. He chewed on his lower lip, washing his arms off slowly at first as he straddled the tub's edge, his good leg in the water.
He only washed for a few minutes before he looked up at Jacob again, blushing. "...Jacob? Do... you still want to wash me?" He asked quietly, chewing on his lower lip. He like that better than the awkward silence that had fallen between them now. |
Jacob had watched the man idly as he washed himself off quickly to get the semen off his chest and stomach and some from between his legs that had dripped from within him. He looked up when Ashley called his name though and smiled a bit realizing he hadn't hid his disappointment that well.
"I want to yes.." Jacob said walking towards the other man standing a few inches away. A smile on his lips. "I don't mind that you don't want me to though." |
"Then... you can. I could use the help." He muttered, blushing. He would take forever on his own and he really did need to get back to work. "I... I don't mind if you do. It would be faster anyway, right?" He asked, looking up at him with a gentle blush and he held the rag out to his lover to take, the soap still in his other hand.

Jacob smiled and nodded some closing the few inches sitting down on the edge of the tub in front of Ashley first. Taking the rag from the other man in one hand he gently caressed the man's cheek in the other in small silent thanks. He enjoyed taking care of the smaller man, especially since he couldn't be around all the time and Ashley took the time to take care of Alex when he was unconscious.
Soaping up the rag he gently began to wash the man's chest and stomach, already knowing the man had washed his arms. He made certain to pay attention that all the sticky semen came away with the rag rinsing and soaping it again so he didn't merely rub it around the man's body more instead of removing it. Though it would indeed be faster, Jacob still took his time wanting to prolong the time before he had to leave Ashley. |
Ashley sat still for Jacob to wash him off, a little disconnected from the action but he tried hard to keep from showing any discomfort with memories of the previous night still so fresh in his mind. He liked Jacob taking care of him, hsi cheeks a little flushed as he allowed him to wash him off, moving however his lover needed him to so he could get him nice and cleaned up, not minding too much that he took extra time just to spend with him.

Jacob noticed Ashley's behaviour even if he tried to hide it. Furrowing his brow a bit his strokes over Ashley's skin gently even if he was almost finished. Was it bothering the man that much that Jacob wanted to take care of him? Jacob didn't want to do anything that would make Ashley begin to dislike him.
"Ashley.." Jacob started frowning as he stroked a thumb across Ashley's now clean skin. "Are you alright? If you really hadn't wanted me to.. you didn't have to allow me.." |
Ashley blinked and snapped out of it at Jacob's words, blushing and shaking his head. "No-No, I just... I guess work and everything is taking a toll on me. I wanted you to... I'm just not so used to someone taking care of me." He murmured, bringing a hand to rest over one of his lover's.

Jacob looked at Ashley worriedly and giving a small nod, accepting the explanation. He hoped that once the man caught up work wouldn't be so hard on him. He gave a small smile and washed the last of the soap off of Ashley's skin gently pressing a kiss to the man's lips to show he was finished, grabbing a towel to begin drying Ashley off.
"I'm here to take care of you as long as you want me Ashley," Jacob said slowly, drying the man's skin gently with the rough towel. "I won't do anything you don't want of me to you, and if I do something or request something of you and you do not want it just say no and though I might look disappointed just stick to your guns. I don't want you to start to resent the fact I want to take care of you..." |
"I would never--... I just.. I have hurt you already once... i don't want to do it again." He admitted after a pause. He couldn't stand to have Jacob look at him like that again, to have him walk away, say those things. And while he knew that not letting him clean him probably wouldn't set him off in that direction, he knew that if Jacob were to know what he did with Andrew.... he was sure it would all be over. He'd have to be careful now, he'd have to act normal with his lover, even if something made him a little uncomfortable because of his co-worker.
"I... Do like it when you take care of me though. You make me feel safe." He smiled and leaned in to give him another kiss, shifting now that he was clean to start getting up, grabbing at his crutch so he could get off of the tub's edge without help. He needed to learn to do that on his own still, or he'd have let his lover help him. "I can call you a cab, Jacob." he offered in a gentle voice. "I'm just walking to work. It's not very far, just a few blocks. I think i could use the air anyway." |
Jacob's lips twitched downward at the memory, he didn't like seeing Ashley with Andrew .. so compliant. Even if it had only been because of a promise of no pain. He wanted to keep the man's co-worker away from him. Closing his eyes a moment he opened them again. "That's what I'm here for... To keep you safe from anyone or anything that wants to hurt you."
Jacob stepped to the side as Ashley began to stand, although he didn't step forward to help and take over he did reach out resting a hand on the man's back ready to catch him in case he should stumble. Biting his lip a bit as Ashley was standing safely once more with both feet on the floor he nodded. "Yeah.. alright.." Jacob murmured quietly leading the way out of the bathroom once more. "You sure you don't just want to share it towards your work and then I could head home from there?" |
